Besides it was in this country that MKO won elections free and fair across the country because of the masses were United in kicking the Military junta out. Even Kano voted MKO over their son, so what do you have to say about that @humilitypays? |

Ugosample:That's true. Another thing is, Nigeria has no common natural factor uniting us as one nation! We speak different Languages abi dialects! We have different cultures and traditions! We have different religion! Yorubas will do well on their own as a nation! Igbos will do well too! Hausas will do well! Hausas and Fulanis can co-habit as one nation without much crises because they share similar religion, dialect and culture! Igbos will live peacefully with Niger Delta (except Edo State; Edo people will live more peacefully with Yorubas than with Igbos)! Every nation ought to have their one national religion, can Nigeria say they have one religion No!Human beings are shaped by their belief, and most human beliefs are religious. This is why having similar religion as a nation plays a key role in unifying the citizens! Nigeria isn't one and can never be one no matter how hard we try! Only time will tell if Nigeria will remain one or not! |

Ugosample:You are wrong as there are many models. In the old USSR. regional army divisions were staffed by locals, it was part reason the USSR broke up without incidence. Then in the first republic of Nigeria, the regions controlled their police, they had their IGs. When Biafra was declared, the Yoruba managed to compel the Feds to return all soldiers to their region which they did, the Northerners were stationed in Ilorin, then the Biafrans invaded the West. So the system we practice now wasnt agreed upon by us and if we return to the old system, the country will breakup within six months without incidence. This isnt a country anymore. So better sit up. One thing to know is that even in a Yoruba, Igbo or Hausa country, you can't just mix everything together! There will be fights if you do that! You might say why not reorganise Nigeria then? But on what basis? There should be a tangible basis for something. |

humilitypays:Is India "one" Is Canada "one" Is Ivory Coast "one" Is Cyprus one? is Belgium one? What of Switzerland? Or even Singapore? Are they not living in peace and developing their countries? Except you want to say that Nigerians are a special breed of subhuman who cannot live in peace together? Anyways I still believe in the unity of the country and we can work things out, but in the case of disintegration (which is highly unlikely) I will just disown that place and cling to my second nationality, because I can't be associated with what I know will fail. |

And also remember that indeed, there are MANY Hausa Christians in the north, you you can't say for sure that they share the same religion absolutely |

Ugosample:I BELIEVE IN TOTAL DISINTEGRATION JUST LIKE THE CIA AND LIKE THOSE WHO QUICKLY FORGAVE NIGERIA'S DEBT DURING OBJ'S PRESIDENCY. THERE IS NO ETHNIC GROUP THAT CAN NOT STAND ALONE AND IF THEY STAND WITH OTHERS, IT MUST BE WILLINGLY. I WANT THE YORUBA SPHERE OF WEST AFRICA TO FORM A NATION DELINEATED INTO TRADITIONAL STATES. I BELIEVE A NATION LIKE BARIBA WILL WANT TO BE PART OF THE YORUBA SPHERE WITH ALL THEIR LANDS IN NIGERIA AND BENIN REPUBLIC TOGETHER AS ONE STATE. HAUSA SHOULD MERGE WITH SW NIGER. JUST REARRANGE EVERYTHING INTO TRUE NATIONS AND SEE AS DEVELOPMENT ROARS INTO LIFE. THE IGBOS CAN SEEK ALLIGNMENT WITH EASTERN IJAW, CALABAR AND ETC FOR NUMBERS. I BELIEVE TOGO AND BENIN WILL HAPPILY JOIN THE YORUBA WEST AFRICA. A NATION SHOULD TAKE ALL INCOME TAX IN ITS TERRITORY. I DONT WANT TO PREEMPT HOW SOME ETHNIC NATIONS WILL ALLIGN BUT NO NATION IS TOO SMALL TO BE SOVEREIGN. THEY CAN ONLY BE TOO SMALL TO BE A MEMBER OF A RESTRUCTURED UN. |

lawani:Rwanda and Burundi has Hutu and Tutsi and yet could not stand each other. South Sudan is a mess today even after separation. Eritrea left Ethopia yet where are they today? The root cause of Nigeria's problem has always been greed from those who led us. With the enormous resources at our disposal, if the leaders have developed the country and majority of the people had what to eat and what to do, do you think anyone will be talking about secession? |

Answering one of those who tried to differentiate the South South and the South East on this thread. Don't try to spread falsehood. Asaba and Onitsha are the same people. They are all Ibos. The Ibo speaking people in Delta are Ibos like the Onitsha and Nnewi. The Egbema people in Imo and Egbema people in Rivers are the same. Obigbo town, now called Oyigbo is an Asa town and the are Ibos. Asa people occupy from Obehie in Abia to Oyibo in Rivers. Truth be told, the Etche people are Ibo and their land stretch upto Aba- Ngwa. The Ndoki people migrated from Ijawland as Bonny and Opobo, today, the Ndoki people are found in Ukwa East in Abia State, Oyigbo in Rivers and in Akwa Ibom. Ibo language have different tribes that can be found in the five South Eastern states, Delta and Rivers. Let Nigerians stop being economical with the truth. |

tuale4u:Please don't spread lies. Asaba and Onitsha are the same. The Delta Ibos are Ibos. In Rivers State, Obigbo is an Asa town and Asa people are Ibos. Egbema in Rivers and Egbema in Imo is same people. |

Malawian:Lol. All that is needed for people like you seeking for the blood of innocents to spill is one super power to support you in achieving that? You are weaker than weakness itself and totally ineffectual. That's why God mocks and holds you in derision. Biafra under the present setting WILL NEVER COME! Go and write it down. Before it comes if it will, all of you children of abomination trained in cursing your elders, parents, siblings and people in authority will have entered self-destruct. And the Chukwu Abiama whose name you use to plot the enthronement of evil is ETERNALLY against you and the present people seeking glory over spilled blood. Write that down too because they will all come to pass. You have just told the world that no super power is behind the present ego-driven quest for Biafra, I thought you guys said Putin of Russia was an in-law and in support? Caricatures. |

lawani:You need to get yourself a bit of education if you tend to dance in the public. David Ejoor was nobody and had remained nobody till date. I cannot waste my time writing piece relating to one David Ejoor. The said David Ejoor could not even ride a bicycle talk less stopping Gowon from using any space in Midwestern region. |

Malawian:even then you have no chance.. any western nation that comes to your aid will have to face non western nations.. russia, china, iran will not allow any western nation to try yeye in nigeria the same way in syria today... at the end you would be fighting alone... you thought too that western nations would send help in the biafran war..we blocked that.. stop dreaming... |

Alariwo2:Give it to them, they are industrious, intelligent and dominant and that is why most people don't like them. They own half of Lagos, like it or not. They own half of Port Harcourt or more. Take it or leave it. But deal with it. They are crossing over to Accra. They are dubious and tend to play smart. But when you show that you are their equal, they do business with you as equals. I learn lessons doing business with them and number one is not to trust anyone when it comes to money. |

Deban:Don't mind the dude. His rants reveal their underlying plan.... but they will fail. Every group must be presented with the opportunity to make their choice. The Igboid group in the South South must be given an option between NDR or Biafra, or whatever that deems good for them. Not this nonsense propaganda they carry online everyday. |
