Davido recently turned 24 on the 21st of November. Omo Babaolowo as he is fondly called was born in 1992. When he sent out a tweet on his birthday that read "24!!!! Grateful!!! One follower decided to call him out saying the singer looked 29 and not 24 prompting him to declare his real age.

The singer who is known to sometimes clapback with venom took the classy route this time, gently reminding the fan he has achieved a lot at 24

I don't know if Davido is lying or not. But what I'm sure of is that a typical Nigerian, more so, the so-called celebrities will never tell their real age, they will always lower it, so that people can say 'wow, he/she haved achieved so much at a very young age'.
I don't even want to talk about the female celebrities who celebrate a particular age for 4-5 consecutive years.
I blame the government though for not having a database for its citizens.
If it was in the US or Europe, nobody wan ask you your age, its their on the internet.
