That's the thing. At times, making your goals known pushes you to achieving it.
Tie your goals to something. Make people know about it. That way, you feel more motivated to achieve your dreams, cos you'd feel, you don't wanna dissapoint them and you wouldn't want them to mock you.

It worked for me too. And still aiming higher.
