I got induction for nxt sunday @ 40.4days if he doesn't come by then. i am hoping to see some sign.baby is still head down.

The only thing I notice is when I woke ystdy, my lower bump just flatten in like something pushing down to pelvic/pubic area but by d time I sit nd stand up frm d toilet seat, it would have gone back to normal. any mama ever experience dt?

on this mil issue. I thought that it is ur mom that will do omugwo and mil will come when ur mom left. I don't know that they are doing it together or is it the other way round. @iomoge2.

my mil was with me when I delivered and immediately my mom come she make way and my mom took over. but she wash my clothes and cook for me.
when my mom left to prepare for d main omugwo my mom in law cook and served me any meal of my choice and also took care of my baby until my mom came back.

it depends on the personality of the person sha. everybody is different.

but why didn't she wash ur clothes are u not a member of her family? if she can't do the hard work she should make way. omugwo is not 100% enjoyment. @ lawvypearl. enjoy ur child dear u deserve it

@mydeporch ur baby is engaged that's why and his head is competing with ur bowel and bladder for more space. u will feel relieved if u empty them.

be positive even if labour doesn't start u will do well at induction it happened to me. I was induced and baby came after 4 hours.

Please I need help with this heartburn,milk isn't working again, my chest is seriously burning btwn a nurse told me I shouldn't be taking milk daily that it can cause protein in urine ,how true is that? Sounds strange to me.

Infact i suckle on it when i feel like till i became irritaited by it.

I took milk every single day. In fact, I had a stash in my office that I would lick whenever. I never had protein in my urine. Maybe it's different for different people.

how do you people lay down rules pls, MIL is 65 and she believes she knows everything. I'm already planning my escape route, maybe when I'm finally free I will share everything here, I'm going through a lot.

I planned everything with hubby and told him if anything happens to my baby he will be held responsible becos I didn't get him within a twinkle of an eye... lol... my 10 months wait was not a child's play, so he told her to Do only the things I want her to do.

Sorry u had to go thru all that. I think ur hubby being an only child contributed to her behaving dt way. We cannot have same story abt our MIL but we can choose wisely who can stay with us and be of help wen it is needed.

just one of those experiences in dis journey of Marriage. I pray God will give us d wisdom to deal wisely with family in laws.

Thanks Cappo. I just woke up dis morning and wear cloth b4 I started cooking. When hubby woke up, he was like dis one am wearing cloth, it means baby is coming soon.
@porting, FIL birthday is Nov 22. Thinking gonna share same month. My sister bd is Dec 7. I don't mind Dec baby.
42hr to Dec 1st. Anything can happen.
The house cleaning I did yesterday, it's been a long time I did dt. Cooked my bitter leaf soup yesterday with little melon cos it's dried one I have here.am preparing myself o. Thanks so much

AlphaHandMaiden, you are lucky with your mother in law, not all are like that. Most mil think they came to enjoy o, practical example from my side. After bathing baby, she will go and brush sit down and be expecting B/F, she will finish eating and shift the plate to one side for you, and lie on the sofa to sleep leaving the plate on the table to come pack, if you don't prepare lunch, she will frown face and do as if she has not eaten since morning.
If you don't pass, she won't drink water, as in she will send you to go get it.

She will complain that I don't like breastfeeding in the public, that my BM doesn't fill up, she saw me with pressure pot, she said she will buy, wanted to go with knife Go-TV, Wanted the son to go drop her in the village, Hubby self was tired and said she is not coming again. Always complaining that my rice is not done.

When I couldn't tolerate her excesses again, I told my hubby that I want to travel to where I will be taken care of and have adequate rest. Took over my baby from 2 months and we are 14 months now.

But, come to think of it, I didn't know that there is tradition for omugwo o, my hubby doesn't believe that and that he can never allow me to go stay with any of his family members for any reason. I love that man mehn, always on the same page with me.

Lawvlypearl, Pele. I almost cry when I was reading your rant. I don't know all these men that allow their wives to go stay in family house o, if you can't come over, stay in your house. I can't deal mehn!!!
