I was also told that at 23 weeks. That it is low lying does not necessarily mean that your cervix is being blocked. It is pretty much dependent on baby's position at the time.

Mine was in a transverse lie and placenta was posterior/low lying.
Doc told me that it will move to its position as baby begins to prepare herself for delivery.

I would hear none of it. I got really worried because I was scared of placenta previa.

At some point, I contacted my friend who assured me that all will be normal. So I continued to declare positive over her.

When I went for scan at 25 weeks, the placenta had adjusted and it was a cephalic presentation, as opposed to transverse.

At 26 weeks, she was in longitudinal breech.

At 38 weeks scan, I got the kind of result every mom wishes for.

Please pray and try to be positive in your thinking. As I have carried mine in good health and Joy, so will you too.

Mine is actually touching the cervix, but am just 24 weeks, hopefully it will move

I had placenta previa type 2...it was detected at my 20wks scan.
The Dr sat me down n explained the implications to me.

We had to do another scan at 28weeks n 36weeks to check if the placenta had moved, but it didn't so we had to schedule an elective CS for anytime after 37 weeks.

Once the placenta is blocking d cervix, going into labour is risky cos it can cause excessive bleeding. Hence the reason my dr didn't want me to go into labor at all to avoid stories that touch.
I had a successful CS yesterday and we are doing great now. If u need more info, u can mention me or send me a PM and we'll talk more.

Dunno if anyone has experienced this before. Went for my 23wks scan revealed that the placenta was posterior lying low- and I have googled which means the placenta is blocking the cervix. Although I was asked to come for another scan in 10weeks time. Any advice? Pls dont look and pass

My sis is pregnant wt her first n just relocated to Lagos(festac). She's currently using mother n child but doesn't want to give birth there.

Let her go to Bonna Sande on 321 road and see Dr Nwadiani. Its my first pregnancy too and I wished I could use that doctor, just that Ago is a bit far from Festac and I dont want to stress myself. Had appointment with him twice and he was fantastic both times. He is a veteran gynecologist who knows his onions.

Please I need help with this heartburn,milk isn't working again, my chest is seriously burning btwn a nurse told me I shouldn't be taking milk daily that it can cause protein in urine ,how true is that? Sounds strange to me.

did u hv peptic ulcer before? hv u complained to ur doc about d heart burn? I've heard some people say that apple cider vinegar (diluted) relieves their heartburn but I cant verify it cos I haven't experienced it b4. pls complain to ur doc. may God make it easy for us
