i started the same day because they were looking for my services b4 i came for interview,as soon as i passed, they gave me task imidiately then job comence. thank God im now in my 4th years. but after 1yrs i started working, one yeye company i went for interview later called me after 2yrs and i askd the HR how much wil be my salary,he started speaking rubish telling why i'm i concern abt money dan the job, i jst cut am trowaway

One day, not kidding at all

It varies, some government jobs can take 1year..some other jobs, private or multinational can be in a matter of days.There are cases where within 48hours after the interview , u are asked to come and collect your appointment letter..

One year 3 months + a pay cut. I took the job cos I know what I was looking for.

Here's the problem with you guys, quit depending on Egypt to provide for you because Egypt told you to get an Egyptian(universe/universal-city or university)degree and everything will be fine....Most High said woe to them that lean on Egypt,Egypt is figurative of worldly system of things.There are other ways than leaning on the wicked Elite for jobs and sustenance.

Was called less than 48 hours after interview. I got the job through Nairaland.

My brother some multinationals will call you after one year. They will then place you on training position for the next two years or more before you will be staffed. Just pray not to see this type of multinational because they lack human resources personnel and MD with conscience.

It depends on the employer.
My former company gave me my offer of appointment a month after the interview while my present employer gave me my offer of apointment 5 months after interview and we would not resume until another 4 months.
My younger brother works with a multinational company and it took about 6 or 7 months after interview.

My advice to you is to try and be prayerful and don't let your mind dwell on it so much. That should however not stop you from applying for other jobs while waiting.

We had a group on NL and kept updating ourselves.

I must mention that I had a job then so I only came online for the latest whilst still expectant

The whole thing depends on the urgency of position. One common thing with multinational coy is that it takes long time before being called to resume. Remember, they don't make the decision on their own. Unlike the usual interviews, if you are interviewing with a multinational coy, they'll always request for the original and photocopies of your cred
entials. Why is that so?
They know it will take a while before you are being called upon. So the photocopies you submitted will be forwarded to their headquarter for scrutiny. And again, those photocopies are collected so that when they invite you over for Documentation, you don't speak different language.
The best way to deal with multinational coy is to take your mind off the application. You've done your best. If it meant to be yours, they'll find you.

what about FG jobs, the FCSC, DPR even FirstBank

about 2days now and still counting, but I'm hopeful expecting...

Don't give up and don't stop praying about this particular job and again don't relent in searching for another opportunities. Don't forget that the year is almost ending and many organisations will be tidying up their account for the year. It is well with your soul.

Do they write interview? Or ...

I wrote application on the day of my documentation no interview got it on a platter o gold through solid connection naija 4 u

three weeks

Did they tell you, "Don't call us. We will call you."?

If that's the case. Pls forget it.

Takes at most, 2 months after the interview for any serious company.

it took my company two months to call me but i never lost hope until i was called

2 days. Wishing you luck. Just keep applying to other places while you wait

Faith, to be frank with you, those ones may even be worse. Those are all government oriented jobs. You expect so many bottlenecks and hijacks. But in term of the processes, it won't be as cumbersome as what we use to see in multinational coy.
Faith I'm looking for a job as you, only that I've had encounter with some reputable multinational companies.

Hahahahahahahaha! 4 weeks! Some people have been waiting for months for a recruitment that started years ago

1 year, 3 months

I gat d job 4 days after. Some employers are not even serious especially the private sector.

My story sounds more like fiction. I walked into a company to enquirer about an opening. I met with the manager who conducted an interview immediately and offered me the job. I was later given application forms on my way home to fill and scan them back in addition to my certificates . Fiction right? I call it Grace.

I got a call the following day. This is my second job. First job was on the spot appointment.

I got the congratulatory message 3days after the final interview.The final interview came up 3months after the first test/interview.I already lost hope but God revive it. just keep praying and hoping. Goodluck
