^Thank you jare. People can be so hypocritical. Didn't the same 50 cent feature her in his popular song a few years ago, "In da club", the remix? Now he decided to work with Kelly and it's attributed to Beyonce's supposed faults. LOL who cares about 50 cent anyway? I don't!  And honestly, I don't even approve of Beyonce's dressing. I criticized when I first saw her "single ladies" video but oh well, that doesn't stop her from being a talented singer/performer. Neither does it stop me from enjoying her music. People just like to carry other people's problems on their heads. If I, as a fan could ignore her dressing, why not these people? No be her dressing dey pain una. And of course, people will cling to the under-dog when they feel threatened.  |

londoner dont get the whole thing wrong,i agree wit redsky1,hav it mind that not all female beefs bee but mostly people not even female both male hate bee becos of her fake life and so many things attached as redsky1 n daises said,anyways is by the way, londoner i perfectly accepted ur previous comparism wit bee n others as i mentioned. others could hate her becos of her money,beauty n wealth but dont think mostly would go 4 that,becos that is totally envy.people i knw just hate her becos of her fake life. |

Cyberfreak: Even if it not in our blood, it is definately in our social conditioning. Sometimes males patronise women because they see how some of us behave. Truth be known, we love to hate women who men claim to prefer. Same reason why some White women hate blondes, because supposedly "men prefer Blondes", noone is beefing red-heads, lol Same way many fat ladies hate slim women ie Monique, it stems from the idea that they are preferred by many men. You wont see men hating on other men most of the time. |

Kemcin, I dont buy your reasoning, does it seem ok to you for people to hate someone they dont know simply because of what she wears or her on stage persona? No, most men do not hate beyonce, some may not care for her as an artist or she may not be their cup of tea but they dont hate her like many women do. [b]Men would not find it reasonable to carry that degree of negative emotion for a person who has done them no harm personally or to anyone close to them.[/b]Women hate her mainly because of what she represents, how can you genuinely hate someone you dont even know? These women have too much time on their hands. If they had her work ethic they wouldnt have the time to spend hating a perfect stranger. They should be taking notes damn it, lol |

@Kemcin, the heights that Beyonce has reached in her career has not been reached by those you mentioned. Beyonce in terms of success/beauty adoration etc is in her own league, those you mentioned are not the ones occupying the top spot in their chosen fields, far away from their nearest competitor. Tyra always came second after Naomi, Kelly after Beyonce, Jada isn't even in the top five. That makes them less of a threat. Beyonce symbolises the girl who seems to have it all, success at will. abeg Beyonce is on top joo.who be Jada and those u have remembered in terms of star value. Bee has class and on top of that she is very entertaining. i wish u saw a CNN interlude of boy of about 8 months dancing to her' put a ring on'. she is vibrant.love her style  haters get a life. |

As for Jay,he's just lucky that BIG isn't around anymore.If BIG were to be alive by now,I bet my index finger on my right hand that no one would be talking about him the way they are right now. I've followed Beyounce from DC in 1997;it was obvious she was pushed forcefully by her dad who was their manager.She's talented no doubt,but I think if she went by just lyrics without pushing sexuality to its limits,she wouldn't be where she is right now,in terms of her solo career and even while lead singer of DC. I think it' was obvious she and her dad were running t he show,much to the chargrin of other DC members. If my sources are anything to go by, Bey was responsible for the drama going on in DC,right from the group's first incarnation.She was squarely behind the first departures in the group,and Kelly probably had no choice but to submit to the manipulations by Beyounce and Matthew Knowles. I feel that set the stage for the hatred most people feel for her:people see her as manipulative and exploitative, especially in the media.I never saw that many line-up changes in a group over such a short amount of time. given that she has worked hard to get to where she is right now in her career,it's hard to believe that her alliance (not marriage in my own view) with Jay-Z is anything other than a business arrangement.And that could be another reason why both are not liked much at all. I wouldn't go so far as to call Beyounce "fake".I don't know her that intimately to do that,but I think she's pushing the envelope a little bit too far for even some of her fans' liking.She's stunning and beautiful to look at,but she doesn't have to be so skimpy all the time.Yes I know,sex sells.And she's taking it to the limit. |

Beyonce was always the lead singer even from the old tapes you could see that. In fact it was kelly who was pushed to the front ahead of Latavia who was in the group before her. Its no different to groups like SWV, or the Jackson five, one was always lead. The other girls dug their own grave when they tried to have a seperate manager. I understand them wanting to, but they shot themselves in the foot and basically marked their own exit. I doubt they were complaining when the sacrifices of the group were also unequally weighted on Mr Knowles shoulders, did they complain when he gave up his job to manage the group, or when he was dedicating his time everyday to train the girls and get them a deal? Before they were sure of the success to come, they were happy for the stress/sacrifice to be more on Beyonces family, after they were becoming hit, they start to look at what is "fair", puhleeese!!!! |

People just have to understand in a group setting one person or two will be ahead of teh others, one perosn will have to take the lead, look around other music groups you can have equality some will be the spokesperson and other will support not becos they are not good but thats how a team works! pussycat dolls- people dnt even know the rest of the girls take that girls aloud jackson 5 even in a football team, how many times do u hear of the goalkeeper? |

I think he is talking about groups which have one or two prominent individuals. it is not common that a group will have all members of equal exposure. From the supremes, to SWV to the Jackson five, Nsync, Boys to men, this is not new. |

Jay and Beyonce are human,they have their faults. You might not agree with their personalities but you can't deny their talent. For those of you saying Beyonce needs sex to sell her work, I have all her albums till today,and it's not cos I get a hard-on when I hear her voice,it's cos she can sing. The fact that she's sexy and flaunts it doesn't detract from her ability. As JayZ said: 'Just cos I'm real they confuse it with conceit'. |
