President Muhammadu Buhari has said that he remain determined to continue investigations and prosecution of corrupt persons in the country, saying the level of corruption he inherited was unbelievable. President Buhari said this at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa in Abuja on Thursday while receiving the Letter of Credence of the United States Ambassador to Nigeria, Mr. William Stuart Symington. He said the target of reversing the culture of corruption in Nigeria had received support from the citizens, with many realising, from the ongoing investigations and prosecutions, the depth of damage done by previous administrations. "The corruption we met at personal and institutional levels was unbelievable. Corruption was turning into a culture. After we came in, people started realising the truth," the president stated. He said his administration was committed to realising the key priorities of securing the country, fighting corruption and salvaging the economy in spite of current challenges. permit me to repost my 'lesson for today for the nitwits'... clowns come on board & talk trash. you are presented with facts that PMB is a disaster, yet you pull out silly excuses from your posterior to justify failure. that is how the nitwits where already justifying the Data tax before it was suspended. it is PMB's critics that are saving this nation. imagine if the man was allowed to just have his way all through, we would probably be paying tax to be able to sleep & nitwits will concoct trash about how its best for Nigerians. now some facts for the nitwits... between 1982-84 crude oil sold at a av. of $68pb (inflation adjusted rates are being used). between 1984-85 when GMB ruled, it dropped to approx. $60pb a drop of less than 15%, but the economy tanked... in comes IBB, in 85, crude prices drops to about $35pb, a drop of over 55% (remains so for over 3 years), yet the economy picks up, life is better than it was in 84-85 with higher oil prices. lesson for the day? dumb leader = dump policies = crashed economy... give PMB crude at $200pb & we would be in an even worse situation than we are now... 14 Likes |

He talks about jonathan being bad, and in some ways i agree. Tell me one singe thing he has done as a corrective measure that has improved the standards of Nigerian lives in his over 2 years in power and with 2019 already drawing close.
