In this present Buhari political dispensation, you have to take laws into your hands by launching a revenge. If you are waiting for the intervention of the police or whatever, only your ghost will experience it. It's quite piteous that the once-gallant Igbo people have now lost that venturesomeness that they epitomized during the 1960s..I swear these religious bigots in the guise of herdsmen can never step their stinking feet on Ijawland.

These people are not fulani herdsmen THEY are BOKO HARAM ...its their new strategy ...they've been killing since since they hardly see bombs to use these days ..or perhaps that's their agreement with their godfathers

I'm dame serious. We cannot keep bringing these old fools back to do the same thing they are skilled in..... looting and sectarian politics. When you keep doing the same thing and expect a different result, then you need a psychiatric. That is what Nigerians need right now. Nigerians are dumb assess. sad

You are very correct. I wonder what Atiku gave that guy that he wouldn't have been able to reject. With these kind of people, the future of Nigeria is doomed.

@ Atiku2019 please change your ways. Don't support these evil men to still continue ruling us. None of them can help us.

Whenever or if when attacks like the one reported here happens, some strange people crawl out from the depths of the internet space to goad people into what would effectively be declaring ethnic war. Well, fine if you're one of those who believes that slaughtering yourselves along ethnic lines will solve all your Herdsman problems. But first be informed that the history of modern African states, up and down the continent, since independence, is marked by continuous ethnic strife that has resulted not in peace and prosperity but backwardness for all concerned.

In regards to our current topical concern, consider that the true enemy of these so-called Herdsmen isn't anarchy but the modern state. As I’ve argued often, the practice of cattle droving is incompatible with the Morden state, marked as it is by laws and borders. The herdsman loathes borders and laws that contradict his primordial freedoms. Civil war and strife would be the ideal conditions for their business. For example, if our current government is naive enough to let the International Aids Charity business establish in the North, the Herdsmen business will thrive. This is because once the Charites establish in the North, they will source for products as much as is possible, locally. The charities will source meat from the Herdsmen.

And in fact, if you’re conspiracies type individual, you might see how all of this could be one grand plan by business people in the cattle industry. The more anarchy in Nigeria, the more things fall apart, the more people are hungry, the more the cattle people stand to gain from the charities that will set up shop in West Africa as they once did in East Africa.

The resolution to the problem may sadly come down to that irresponsible one muted many times on Niraland by many individuals, which is to make the middle-belt, the South, West and East of Nigeria unproductive places for Cattles. Of course, the Terrorists wing of the Herdsmen will be sent out to seek retribution and sow terror. However, if in spite of the retributions, cattle still meet death, which will be the case if enough people in the south represent potential danger to cattle in their area, the powers that be will eventually have to find a workable solution.

This is a very sad news.Atimes, I wonder if it's just ordinary herdsmen who wreak this havoc on people. If this had happened to Afonjas, this thread would probably be on the 88th page with some people celebrating over it.When evil happens anywhere, don't rejoice and mock those affected all because they didn't vote your preferred candidate.

Is it Ngwa lad that youths were crying and protesting on the motorway because Fulani was raping their women.

You see, this you peoples problem, if it had happened to other southerners it would be because they are cowards and not the Igbo, if it had happened in another Igbo state, they are the cowards, now it's happening in your state and you've managed to demarcate yourself, soon you'll be talking about how your section of the village is braver than the rest. And then yo people will be coming online to do Anambra vs. Imo, Abia vs. Kafanchan.

Ndi Igbo can be fucking stupid at times.

When Igbos revenge and kill them and their leaders , it is the same middle belters that will turn around to join them to fight igbos.

Sometime early this year when igbos revenged and 50 graves of fulani herdsmen were found in Abia state , it was a middle belter and yourbas that threathened to drag igbos before ICJ and AI for abuse of human rights and genocide against fulani herdsmen.

Our problem is not fulani but the vultures and hyena that will join fulani to fight igbos. Igbos would have settled fulani issues along time ago but for vultures and hyenas
