Yaradua's death really got us into a serious mess in this country.. starting from the phD holder in lootocracy from otueke I really am surprised Igbos are changing gear all of a sudden to embrace Northern illiterates as they enjoy calling them.. it's really pitiable 1 Like |

Ahmadgani: Shunning nepotism and godfatherism has got nothing to do with holding power for long. Its a game of getting to the top, remaining and never being out of ideas. Am out 1 Like |

I read the article from beginning to end and I must say that this is not politics. Politics is supposed to mean a way of electing leaders to better the lives of the populace. Instead I'm reading about how Amosun fought his godfather or how Fashola visits Tinubu regularly or how Adebayo Shittu beat Ajimobi in his game. How the hell does this put food in the tables of >180million people? The saddest part is that we the governed just sit down and allow these people lord themselves over us. When they're done stealing our money, they'll invite their children abroad back home to continue their Lordship over us. Its just sad and pathetic. 2 Likes |

Ahmadgani: indeed the role played by tinubu, both in forming APC and the eventual victory of president Muhammadu buhari in 2015 cannot and should not be over emphasised but it is high time we shunned the politics of nepotism, favouritism and sentiments.
So you believe in biting the finger that fed you? SMH
you cannot be too powerful forever, opportunity should be given to other power brokers.
Nothing is given in life, you take it if you have the guts If they think they can do it without him, fine, they should try their luck and whatever their eye see there they should take it like that
2019 is going to be interesting
|

i think jagaban should leave the stage now .....he shouldn't be rubbing shoulders with these ''small small'' boys. he trained most of these young lads , politically he remains their boss, their role model, their benefactor, a political enigma..... call it quit ASIWAJU.

Buhari is the one man I know that will hear that a gunman is coming to his house and will stay at home to welcome them even though he has no exit strategy Buhari knew of the coup that removed him months before it was carried out. Buhari simply asked IBB to tell hm to get up the seat whenever he is ready. Buhari knew Saraki will not blink an eye about plot to impeach him, yet he will not do anything about it and kept Saraki in his seat. Kwankwaso, Saraki and Sanusi are plotting Bubu's fall and novice are shouting Tinubu. Buhari enemies are within his Northern Caliphate. If for anything, Tinubu is only helping Buhari to retain power, just like he helped him to become the President. Oyegun is clueless and has become a tool in the hands of Buhari's enemy 2 Likes 1 Share |

ImperialYoruba: cult of personality is the main problem of Yoruba Nation and that's why we have always been disappointed. We had Awo, Jakande, MKO and now Tinubu. All of them got their personal agendas and that's why they ended up being betrayed. We must stop following the likes of Tinubu and co, they got no plans for the SW. |
Re: 2019: New Power Bloc Takes Shape In Southwest - Daily Sun by Nobody: 9:04pm On Dec 03, 2016 |
OBAGADAFFI: None of the past or present Yoruba political leaders is good enough, are you advocating that the Yorubas should be without one? More like Igbo style? How has that helped the Igbos? Who has SW interest among the current crop of leaders / followers? You? Do you have SW interest at heart? What have you proposed? Can a place function without a leader? Is there anything wrong in regional cooperation and having a leader to provide some direction? That is not the Yorubas. Unlike the Igbos, we have leaders even before the white man shows up at our shore. 2 Likes 1 Share |

ODVanguard: Tinubu has never fought a retired Fulani general who was once an head of state. That's the difference between OBJ, GEJ, and Buhari. Whatever room OBJ and GEJ gave Tinubu, Buhari will NEVER give Tinubu. In fact ask yourself, since 1999 till date, has Tinubu ever gone on self-exile for anyone? But he is currently doing so under Buhari! Awolowo and Abiola fell to Northern interests. There is nothing about Tinubu that says he would not fall. Buhari already has all he needs to win in 2019. The only thing going for Tinubu is that he is not directly contesting for any position, so he can even wait until 2023 to do his thing and play another 2015 with enemies of his enemy. But as for 2019, APC, and Buhari, Tinubu should forget it. -Lord |
Re: 2019: New Power Bloc Takes Shape In Southwest - Daily Sun by Nobody: 9:12pm On Dec 03, 2016 |
LordAdam: Tinubu has always been outside the country even during the formation of APC etc. So you can continue to excite yourself with news of his "self exile" Almost everywhere, the local APC are fighting each other. - ElRufai vs Shehu Sanni - Kaduna - El Rufai vs Atiku - National - Gunduje vs Kwakwanso - Kano - Okorocha vs Osita Okechukwu - SE Regional. - Buhari vs Sanusi - National - Buhari / Garba Shehu/The Cabal vs Buba Galadima, former CPC National Secretary and APC, BOT Even Emir Sanusi has become an opposition to Buhari in many levels. Who knows whether he is fighting for his benefactor (Kwakwanso) who makes sure that he is installed the emir against other candidates. Sanusi latest comment that CBN is illegally funding Buhari's government is damning and the NASS can easily seize on this to impeach Buhari. Buhari is not a good politician by encouraging all this rancour and division within a party that just came into power last year. Kwankwaso, Saraki and Sanusi are plotting Bubu's fall and novice are shouting Tinubu. Buhari enemies are within his Northern Caliphate. If for anything, Tinubu is only helping Buhari to retain power, just like he helped him to become the President. Oyegun is clueless and has become a tool in the hands of Buhari's enemy. People that are exploiting Buhari's weakness are busy shouting Tinubu upandan 2 Likes |
