bought this phone a while ago, but I have been unable to activate the 4G or 3G since I learnt it came with the feature. Is anyone familiar with the product? I can barely stand the 2G it runs on.

To Change 2G to 3G 4G LTE only network mode in Android Phone via USSD code, take the following steps:
Dial *#*#4636#*#* OR ##626* OR ##786# in your phone.
Select Phone Information.
If you have Dual SIM Select the Slot (SIM) you want change settings for.
Scroll Down and select the Option Under “Set preferred network type”

thanks bro, but I tried the three codes, none worked. The phone doesn't come with the network mode feature, so I can't switch between networks; but it says in the phone feature that it is 4G enabled.

that suppose to work for every android phone. im afraid i cant offer more help than that.

I don't think you can change a phone that is not 4G LTE hardware to it by any code. Which Alcatel Pixi model is yours? This is because the only 4G LTE of the Pixi series that I know is Pixi 4 (6 inch only - 6.0 LTE). Both are compatible with the rare Glo 4G LTE frequency band 28 (700 MHz).

I use PIXI theatre 4G Cricket 50980 (pixi 4(6) 4G cricket). it doesn't come with the "preferred network type feature" so it's just fixed on edge.
