Oh now I see why people and christians who have once had a great fellowship with God turn arround someday to become atheists and unbelievers in the faith they once professed, how do they gradually become such, romans 2 vs 19. Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them, for God hath showed it unto them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, because that, when they knew God, neither were they thankful, but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools. (And in verse 23 of the same scripture) And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man,and to birds, and four footed beasts, and creeping things, therefore, God gave them up to uncleanliness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonor their bodies between themselves. Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature, more than the creator who is blessed forever Amen. The result of this deed was that God gave them up to vile affections and that's why we have the homosexuals, bisexuals, and lesbians, and even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge in romans 1 vs 28 God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient the result of this they are filled with all manner of unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness,covetousness, full of envy, deceit, debate, whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, inventors of evil things, disobedient, without understanding, convenant breakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful, who knowing the judgement of God that they which commit such things are worthy of death not only do the same but have pleasure in those that do them. Solomon that once slain bullocks inumerable for the lord, but in his old age he departed from the things of the lord.

Wow... Was expecting something different for once but well...

Here's an idea: Why don't you just ask an atheist why they left Christianity and listen to what they tell you? Maybe you'll hear something different from what Paul wrote 2000 years ago about a completely different set of people in a totally different environment.

There's a lot of stuff we know now that the bible made no mention of (eg classical physics, germ theory of disease, boiling water before drinking it). Maybe you shouldn't assume the answer to every question is in the bible. Maybe you should try going out to gather information and try to figure things out yourself based on what you see in the real world.

To me that seems better than just burying you face in an old book and assuming that you know everything.
