Corruption: I’m not ready for trial now—Justice Ngwuta
A Federal high court sitting in Abuja on Wednesday adjourned commencement of full blown trial in the 16-count charge of money laundering and judicial misconduct slammed against a suspended justice of the Supreme Court, Justice Sylvester Ngwuta till January 18, 2017 at the instance of the jurist who said he was not ready for his trial.

Justice Ngwuta who pleaded for adjournment in the case on Wednesday said he needed time to study the documents thrown at him including the charge, the proof of evidence, the exhibits and other processes served on him just few days ago.

He said he was entitled to adequate time under the law to prepare for his trial.
