Currently at Shiloh 2016 via the viewing centre, Bishop David Oyedepo uses John D. Rockefeller as an example like he always like to do. I am surprised he keeps making the error of saying the man died at 93, after giving half his wealth upon his sickness at age 52. Anyways, John D. Rockefeller actually Died at 97. His son John D Rockefeller Jr. died at 86. So anyone who can tell him the correct age would be doing a nice thing cos he has been making this same little mistake for many years now. I have heard it from him so many times. Thanks.

Its implication is that a "man of God" can never make a mistake and everything he says must be divine. Smh.

I just hope someone corrects him cos he keeps making this mistake whenever he talks about JDR... it's either you're totally spot on, or you forget about using him as an analogy to buttress your message.

It's a persistent mistake. It might not affect his message negatively if that's what you mean.

He always emphasizes the age...93...like he did tonight. I'm just trying to correct this and I hope it somehow gets across to him. He's been saying same thing for over 5 years now and I was surprised to hear it again tonight even though I haven't been attending recently but decided to go tonight. It is well sha.

He died almost two months before his 98 birthday, so it's 97. That's how it's officially recorded.
