Senators have expressed disenchantment with the outcome of the process that led to the recruitmentof 10,000 police officers and personnel, by the Police Service Commission (PSC).New Telegraph gathered from senior National Assembly sources, that the lawmakers gave vent to their anger at an executive session the Senate Committee on Police Affairs had with the Chairman and Commissioners of the Police Commission on Wednesday. One of the sources, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said senators were visibly angry that most of their constituents, whose interests they had pushed, did not make the final listof successful candidates, whose names were released on Tuesday. He further disclosed that the House Committee on Police Affairs may likelyinvite the management team of PSC, to also register their displeasure. It was, however, gathered that the Sir Mike Okiro-led PSC team took time outto explain the transparent nature of the recruitment exercise, which has attracted commendation from some Nigerians. The National Assembly source said the lawmakers were made to understand that the commission could not have accommodated all interests, considering the fact that their mandate to recruit 10,000 personnel was not extended.“May I inform you that the Senate Committee on Police Affairs held an executive session with the Police Commission team on Tuesday, where they registered their disenchantment over the final recruitment list.“Their anger stemmed from the fact that many of their constituents were not among successful candidates to undergo training.“But, the team maintained that the federal character principle and transparency, formed the foundation of the recruitment process,” the source stated.New Telegraph learnt earlier that the Clerk of the Committee had worked with the PSC team. Others, who were said to have worked with the team, were the Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) in charge of Training, as well as representatives of the Federal Character Commission (FCC)

Godjone:
Am not a happy man at all. I did not make the list.

Now. After heavily investing in this job and the stress of traveling up and down, this is how it ended. Now am confused, age is no longer on my side. Job not easy in the country. Waking up in the morning and just be hoping aimlessly and hopelessly with no succour in sight.

May i say a big congratulations to those who made it. I want to equally encourage them to be magnanimous in victory. Put us who couldn't make the list in ur prayers and those who got connection among you should remember us too. Show us some affection and support so we can climb the top too.

I am grieved somebody console me please!

Letter to a friend:
Dear Godjone,
How are you? And how are you handling the recent disappointment about the Police recruitment? I just want to let you know the followings;
1)You are not alone on this!
2)You are not the worst of all...you are still better than some of us...
3)Those that were selected may not be better than you are
4)This is not the end for you...
5)God has you in mind and can never forget you
I don't have the right set of words to use to make you look beyond 'now' and see a better 'tomorrow' for yourself. Why not see this as, 'Nigeria Police just missed their chance of employing a valuable asset'. Yes...you are way too loaded for the police force, that's why you weren't selected.
So, my dear brother, why not go back online for your job search, check newspapers for new openings, or better still, start making plans towards that job you wanna start on your own, and don't give up on yourself, even if the world wouldn't believe in you. Police recruitment has come and gone, success and congratulations to those who made the list, but one thing is sure, LIFE GOES ON!
Godjone, all you need to do now is to revive the potential in you and rekindle the fire of hope in you that has brought you thus far!
Success in your future endeavours!

Yours in faith,
Newton8

Ahh!! Meticulously evil people. Bro, no one knows oh or should I say I don't know. Could be after the interview for those specialists that require it. I don't think a class can start without the conclusion of the selection of that class of officers. For GD, I think it's letter of appointment next then college for All categories. By the way, no need to taunt the fella... nobody holy pass
