Presently Nigeria is a time bomb waiting to explode.

No economy that has experienced what we're going through has left unscathed. The signs and symptoms of our economic malady are alarming even for a conservative physician.

Not only are basic needs inaccessible, but the price of goods and services is sky rocketing and at an all time high.

NLC used to go on strike whenever Petroleum price hit N100 but now we have to cope with the price ranging from N140-150.
Civil servants used to complain when they weren't paid their stipend for a month. Now we have states where public servants haven't been paid for months.
We used to be outraged by power outage and fluctuation but now we don't even expect electricity. It's a celebration now whenever we get electricity.

Bankers would run to human rights whenever staff were sacked. These days a whole branch is sacked, who are they going to complain to?

The labour market used to be saturated, now it's super saturated.
Graduates and drop-outs are frustrated the same.
Let's be honest, this government has exceeded our elastic limit. Now we have reached our breaking point.

The reason there hasn't been a multiplier effect in crime rate beats me. Maybe because Nigerian youth have resorted to their innate entrepreneurial skills or the power of religion. People are still using their "church mind" to follow this country.
But it's just a matter of time.

When the cost of rice and garri continue to soar.
The value of Naira against dollar keeps crashing, ruining business for business men who depend on Forex.

Companies that should be recruiting are retrenching due to huge financial losses.
In fact most are packing up and closing up shop. When the cost of running the business is not encouraging.

Something has to be done fast lest the masses become desperate and lose our last restraint.
Politicians keep making empty promises. The Presidency including his Ministers keeps selling us a better promising future when the present isn't reassuring.

All I'm saying is we need to start seeing changes because we can only take this for so long, eventually when push comes to shove, there would be a revolution. We the masses will lose faith in the government and take matters into our own hands.

Until then we can only wait for the Change they promised before we claim the Change we want.
