Nigerians are not new to Get rich quick schemes and other forms of ponzi that is why I don't expect anyone to see this as a surprise.
a week before Telexfree went down, I warned people not to register even as the temptation was much.
a particular old man yielded to my advice and did not register.the day it happened, the man walked into my office and hugged me. He said my son you have saved Me.
He said the 300 k he wanted to invest for his 2 sons were the last he has.
following the trend and understanding the way Nigeria as a society works, I realized that Mmm has reached its breaking point. people were being matched instantly and it's evident they have exhausted their pool of PH.
also we are in December and the level of GH is unusually high.
I predicted that today being Tuesday 13th MMM will put everybody on compulsory Hold till the new year. even my brother thought I was bluffing. some of my friends GH last week Tuesday while others refused to listen.
well today it happened as predicted.

Bros, easier said ni. Not everyone will listen to that/not everyone even sees that.

Besides, Money na Spirit. E go don sweet some people for belle.

Plus, are you saying some of the market women who aren't so learned, that joined will even bother to read the instructions? Some of the people that even introduced them, will not come out plainly to explain the risk to them. How do you expect such people to know if they were to invest just their spare money or their live savings, when they dont even know the risks involved.

Besides, as recession dey, who get spare money sef. #5 sef na main money.

So some people may not even have something to spend/fall back on pending when they defrost their accounts.

Everyone was repeatedly warned about a possible crash, people failed to listen and of course MMM by nature is a ponzi scheme designed to fail finally!

Mmm is trying to avoid the risk of more people ghing for xmas. It is normal for people to need money during Xmas. They know GH may likely exceed pH. They don't want to take that risk. If they don't consider that, then problems are bound to occur. People will GH and will not be matched early. So to avoid that, reduce GH pressure and increase ph, which will be used to pay matured gh by January. I believe our participants will remain calm. You can see why we need to stick with a system that has been well planned out. Some other scheme may not have considered this, that is why, some of the scheme are bound to fail. Long live MMM.

Stop this nonsense, I guess it crashed in 2015 wen the same measures was put in place bcoz of panic withdrawal

the problem is not going on strike or holiday or a break for a month, the issue is, on resumption.....who will have the guts to PH.....i certainly would be watching and waiting for others to kick start the system again for me to regain confidence and so would most people, the ripple effect is the ultimate killer.

the days of MMM is numbered ,if MMM survives after resumption, then i may consider putting i som funds for the very first time ever.
