These girls play soccer for a living not just for d fun of it. If u owe dem.since March how do u expect dem.to.eat. Well since its to early to protest after getting owed for 9months no problem. Continue
you play soccer for a professional club for a living , no one plays soccer for their country for a living.

what 9 months are you talking about?

Africans will always be Africans .

Display of shame by all parties involve(Nigeria government ,NFF, the players etc). They did not work for Nigeria but served Nigeria , yes, I expect Nigeria to reward them / pay them whatever they owe them but this disgraceful protest and insult to the African race should stop.

They almost started this drama immediately they won the final match. I wonder if this would attract good clubs hiring the services of the protesters.

Even NYSC members would no embark on this disgraceful protest if their allowance is delayed.

This girls should dialogue / hold on for the organisers to settle them , it is too early for this .
May your hard labour and sweat not yield any money and may you be owed the money you are supposed to collect for your labour .then you will know how stupid it is to type rubbish when u have nothing intelligent to write

Bros don't be insensitive because you have no one related to you among them, Is a worker not deserving of wages?..There is no shame on there part rather shame on all Officials and to you for being insensitive to the plight of your brother..They won the cup, they were promised allowances, by now they should be thinking of a feast at Aso rock not protesting wages..shame
Think before you talk , playing for one's country is not working ,it is service.

I am not saying they should not be compensated , just saying this drama is unprofessional and shows they are jobless .

Sadly, the country is in recession. My only grouse is that these girls were not informed prior to the tournament that there will be no monetary reward this time. Nigeria has got much more important issues to deal with....like the over 2 million starving IDPs living in conditions similar to concentration camps.

Those of you who think it's insensitive for the government not to pay these girls, maybe you should show the same passion for the hungry people displaced by Boko Haram. This is not the time to throw dollars around, the country is in a recession. At least, these girls had all their expenses incurred paid for by the government, and they are also well paid by their various clubs. They don't know what hunger is.

I have read people say that these girls have "worked so hard, and sacrificed so much for the country". There are soldiers earning a pittance and fighting Boko Haram, they deserve some dollars for their hard work as well.
Young man are you daft? Like seriously what specie of animal are you? These young ladies gave all they had for this country, some were even wounded, finally they brought joy and pride to this nation then you are here spewing trash. Anyway I don't blame you, I blame the network provider that gave you free data to use and disgrace your self. Baboon.

You are very right but again following what I heard from the minister of sport on one of the interviews, why the bulk still stop at the ministers table is the fact that some necessary things that needed to be done to make NFF autonomous is still not yet in place. When FIFA sends money, it goes to the sport ministry account and not NFF. The prize money goes to the country and not NFF. NFF only withdraws from it based on how much they know they have access to.if not, the issue doesn't require NFF to raise budget to FG or ministry.

We all know that NFF needs a lot of work to be independent. Raise funds for them self and other things but governments role is indispensable to that organisation. It's just lack of competence that both parties can not manage the situation well.

It's not like British government doesn't support football association but they keep it cordial knowing who and when to intervene
Correction the British government does not support the English national team or football association. The FA makes milions of pounds in sponsorships and from the sale of merchandise. That is even apart from FIFA grants. The national team players do not even collect bonuses or allowances because all their earnings go to charity. They play only for pride and recognition, not money!
Another correction, FIFA does not send money to the ministry, the money goes to the FA! What the FA does with the money, only God and the FA president knows.

buhari has no shame. the second runner up of the tournament where hosted by their president and settled them appropriately. imagine the embarrassment these country Is exposing our nation at any slightest opportunity. in my opinion, let these country forget anything sport since our country cannot reward hard work and excellence.
when trump said "Africa needs recolonistion" believe me he meant Nigeria. imagine the millions of naira that was lavished at the just concluded rivers election and yet they don't want to settle these ladies that made the country proud. believe me my fellow nigerians, it's a very big shame. look at champions in the street with placards. which way my brother.

This was what Oliseh was talking about....Pinnick said he had been paid and Oliseh said they had not ....wanting the guy to hide their attrocities.....PMB, prefers to go fight another man fight in Gambia than solving issues ,he put on ground....For me , Pinnick should resign, he has been a failure .....remember the dream team were also stranded....and he keeps running his mouth..I dey wait make u owe the Super Eagles coach ....na FIFA go settle una.
