Bro, there's a very strong need for bitcoin especially in countries with strict foreign exchange controls like ours or bottlenecks that inhibits free flow of financial resources.

We have not fully exploited the potentials of bitcoin here in Nigeria. Like you said most are for ponzi scheme but in reality, we could do much more with bitcoin. I could go on and on and on on how that could be done.

one can decide to hold on to his or her bitcoin till January and see if mmm or any other ponzi scheme will come back on then sell high and if it doesn't come then the person may sell for as low as 350N . it is all a gamble.

if there is no demand for it ,and a seller has 20000$ , what will he do ? but if mmm does come back on ,then the person makes a gain, because many would have sold off their stock and before they can replenish it will take like 1 week , this means there will be shortage of bitcoin , then the price can rise as high as 560.
but the million dollar question is who will wait to see what happens ?

Once upon a time, bitcoin was being sold 520-550 here, then the price crashed within a twinkle of an eye to 450-480, a period heralded by LadyF's favorite word: sheap coins. Then MMM united's craze set in and prices sky rocketed once again.

Would it sell less than $ value at the parallel market? Right now, I won't bet on that, especially since what is happening now is not just a function of true demand and supply, but more or less a 'bragging right' it's like every btc seller is in a competition to outdo the other's cheapest price point...reminds you of 9ja's telecom industry doesn't it?

Na my person she b until she tell me say I dey mad over my own money. The money involved is not much but the manner she has handle it made me angry.

she asked how far on paypal funds. I told her to wait and updated her.

On D-day, money was to be sent. She asked if it's instant payment and even asked when money will be sent. This was her urging me on oo.

I said wait. When time reach, u will receive it.

On dday, money was sent. I sent her screenshot and asked how far? Next thing I read is "later"

Hours later I asked again, she said "pending"

I said okay. But why is it pending? Instead of her to explain to me she would say "she does not know" "she isn't paypal" "I should ask paypal"

Initially, I took it as a joke considering we had known each other for long.

But based on date of release as shown on screenshot, I asked why is it still pending... till this moment, no explanation. It was when I came on nairaland that she deemed it worthy to tell me fund will be held for 21 days. But sender paid $1 to make sure it is instant. So why 21 days?

I even had to suggest contacting sender to release the funds if that is the case. That was when she even told em "it's a new account"

All these she never told me prior to the transaction and you dey wonder why I dey para?

I no wan touch money wey dey my account... na that money I wan use.
Make she explain why sender pay $1 and she dey claim 21 days hold and also show proof that money is held for 21days.

She lacks good communication and that is the cause of my anger.
