The Olam Rice Mill in Nasarawa State was constructed and commissioned during the administartion of GEJ. Stop giving PMB undeserved credit.

These are the initiatives of Mr Adesina under the last govt ..please get your fact right before trying to hype that complete liar and failure called Buhari
The same way he "completed" the rail lines without coaches to travel on it.

The same way he came up with TSA without implementation.

The same way he starved refineries of crude oil production.

You guys are simply shameless. Ideas are cheap but the person that has the guys to execute ideas to fruition deserves the glory.

GEJ completed rice mill since 2014 but did not produce any rice until ending of 2016. Almost 2years into PMB's administration. What kind of rice is it to produce that is taking 2years.

GEJ built rice mill but failed to provide the rice for them to mill.

Any nonentity can have a child but it takes a real father to provide for the child (feed, clothe, educate etc). With the kind of fund that was available to GEJ. Te could have built 10 rice mills and provide rice for them to mill. Instead he built a rice mill and still continued to use over a trillion Naira annually to import rice.

Does that make GEJ a same person or an insane one.

FYI the CBN under Buhari provided 25billion naira agricultural support for farmers to produce rice for the rice mill to mill.

You can do your research.

keep quiet cos you know nothing. Which dirty initiative? Importation of rice was fully on under Gej and that was why local producers fears of investing not until president Buhari partially stop it and now we all see the result. Before the end of second quarter of 2017, local production will be high cos most rice mills will be completed and d price of it will drop astromically and Nigeria will be sufficient on rice production, exportation will be attained and that will reduce pressure on forex knowing fully that over 60 percent of forex echange goes to importation of rice. jobs will be created and revenue will also be generated by govt. Currently d president has banned car importation tru our various land boaders now and this singular act will enables many nigerians to patronize made in nigeria cars, cos d duration of arrival of cars from abroad thru the ports which normally take time and dat is d reason our land boarders thrive so much will be stoped and we will have no choice to fall back on made in naija products. Many manufacturer will soon take advantage of it now and I know you will still try to make us understand it was Gej initiatives.

Your sarcasm is watery. You also really need to cure your ignorance. Olam Rice Mill is the largest Rice Factory in West Africa. It is a private investment and it was commissioned in the year 2014 when GEJ was still the President. I have once been to their Rice Farm at Rukuba Village in Doma LG, Nasarawa State

But why did he wait until 2014 before commissioning such a factory of strategic importance when he came to power since 2010?

The context of our discussion is the rice harvest brought about by this govt's policy of local production of rice.

How some of you think we're talking of the building or the company is beyond me.

PMB is the only true leader we've had since this 4th republic. He pursues true solutions to our challenges with vigor even though he knows some of those policies are unpopular.

But because of his conviction about those painful but necessary policies to get Nigeria in the track to true economic growth and development, rather than paper growth, he sticks to his guns. And gradually but surely, we're seeing results of those daring steps.

God bless PMB
God bless Nigeria
Amen.personally i don't insult my leaders even if they are not delivering rather i pray for them, criticise them constructively. Beside, pmb is delivering in his promise slowly.Definately, slowly slow and steady wins!!.Baba buhari may you win this race and put all the enemies of this great nation in shame

When I saw the name 'Olam' I know the program is a serious one. Nigeria is on the right track on this.

Kudos to the CBN, GEJ, PMB and the farmers who actually made the project a good one.

I just thank God for the friendly weather in this time of recession. If not?!

We just have to decide whether its success is due to the fact that Gej Commissioned it or the provision of favourable environment

If buhari had closed his eyes to blind importation of rice like wasteful gej, that factory would have remained redundant.decreasing importation of certain things is making nigerians to wise up and produce locally inspite of the difficulties.if we continue like this the economy will rebound soon and our foreign reserve will grow.we have the potential.now in ibadan i see local rice sold openly unlike b4.i am not sure anybody dislikes buhari as much as i do but on this one i give him the credit.

Wud u pls get ur fact right before pontificating ur ignorance here. Olam's Mama pride,Umza nd co has since flood the market pre 2015. Infact my household stopped consuming foreign rice within that time. How i wish u visited the factory or their farmland within those period. Infact to GEJ govt in an effort to protect the local millers hike the tariff on imported rice to make it price competitive. Umza Rice was sold for #8000 while mama pride was #7500.
