the most horrible roads in this country are in this state. Been in this state for over a year n I haven't seen any rehabilitation of road of any type. all this heavy duty truck falls always and this kinda things happens always as the locals tend to vandalize at any little opportunity they get

Poverty has eaten deep into the fabrics of some Nigerians and stripped them so blind. Hw can one see such a traumatic incident and still indulge in the act of trying to steal a fuel which is likely to explode @ any slightest mistake.... it's shocking even d so called roadsaftety official is standing confidently beside the fallen truck...God u shud save our people

It has nothing to do with poverty, but a loss of moral compass and a mentality where in some cultures stealing and cheating have been legitimised as hussle - if it were poverty alone; then the northern part of this country with the highest level of poverty should have been witnessing much more higher rate of such brazen reported and unreported crimes of theft.

For decades I have always seen people taking fuel from falling tankers and many burning to hatches. I can't even count to too many to remember
