Progesterone hormonal assay is done on CD 21
LH,FSH, ESTROGEN , PROLACTIN on CD 3
AMH - am not really sure of its day

I think you should check Boluke pharmacy at Agege, Pen cinema. You should be able to get it there.

mumzara , try big pharmacies in places like Ikeja (close to under bridge), V.I, Surulere etc. Some of these ones stock more foreign drugs.

You can use it with Vit B6. Not more than 100mg. Even 50mg if you wish. I took 100mg. But reduced it to 50mg later on in my luteal phase. Some do the reverse. Some continue with same dose all through. Pls dont be tempted to take 150 or 200mg. I did for one day and the effects was what made me reduce it drastically to 50mg.

In my own opinion, those mamas who want to start taking vitamin b6 during mid-cycle should start at the beginning of their cycles i.e. CD1. It is advised when taking fertility drugs that it should be taken for three months for maximum results. You can't introduce the drug into your system at that time when its supposed to already be in your system, already working towards lengthening your luteal phase. You can start with 50mg and get to 100mg after O. Sometimes I go as far as taking 200mg from CD21 but its not advisable. I do that when I feel preggy, to help curb future morning sickness in case I'm actually preggy. I've read in novels that it helps to curb morning sickness and some former TTC mamas on the preggy thread have testified to it too. It should be taken with vitamin b12 to help the body absorb the b6. The higher the dose, the higher should be the b12. It is also great for managing stress but shouldn't be taken on long term basis because it affects the nerves.

Mamas, please let's stop behaving like sheep trying to cross the road. Once the first sheep crosses successfully, the others run across not bothering to check if any vehicle is coming. We all have different bodies. What worked for A might not work for B and might do untold things to the body. I'm not saying we shouldn't take drugs or try what a preggy mama did differently but be careful. Gather enough information here and on Google and even from your doctor (though some don't know what they're doing) before taking the drugs.

There's always one drug or the other reigning on this thread but it might not be for you. There was a time Vitex was the in thing on this thread. I wanted to behave like a sheep until I read it could mess up one's cycle. I jejely left it. I applaud the mama who read up reviews on M2tone and realized it could aggravate fibroids and decided not to take it.

I'm not calling us sheep o. It's just an illustration. We don't know what these drugs are doing to our kidneys. Better to be safe than sorry. I hope I didn't offend anyone.
