iblawi:Did he say he transports his cargo to Nairobi? LAWD, some of you are really thick, lol. There are several places in Kenya other than Nairobi. |

68816419:You can't compare light rail to SGR dude. Oranges to apples. |
| Re: Kenya Is Ahead of Nigeria In All Aspect (Facts Don't Lie) by NairobiWalker(m): 4:54pm On Dec 19, 2016 |
iblawi:One train is an SGR train built to carry the heaviest cargo while the other train is a light passenger train built to transport passengers at the fastest speed possible. I hate to say this but most of you guys have proved to me that Nigeria's education system is a joke with your ignorance. |
| Re: Kenya Is Ahead of Nigeria In All Aspect (Facts Don't Lie) by iblawi(m): 5:05pm On Dec 19, 2016 |
NairobiWalker:We have more light rail We have more narrow gauge rail And we still have more standard gauge railway all this within our country. Unlike yours you are building with other countries. |
| Re: Kenya Is Ahead of Nigeria In All Aspect (Facts Don't Lie) by iblawi(m): 5:14pm On Dec 19, 2016 |
NairobiWalker:You are the most foolish on this thread. Abuja Kaduna railway is SGR So you are telling me standard gauge line are built for carrying people only abi? Even our old narrow gauge railway still transport cargos from Lagos to other parts of the country. Our light rails are intra city rails. |
| Re: Kenya Is Ahead of Nigeria In All Aspect (Facts Don't Lie) by NairobiWalker(m): 5:16pm On Dec 19, 2016 |
forgiveness:Actually 90℅ of Nigerian cities would be considered slums in Kenya. Look at what most of Kano (your second largest city) looks like - the whole of this would be considered a slum in a city like Nakuru.

iblawi:You're brainless. You can't read so you make your own points in your head and argue against them. I didn't even say SGR carries passengers - in fact I said the opposite. I was responding to your stupid comparison of a passenger trains speed to a cargo train. |

NairobiWalker:You are completely useless. Abuja Kaduna railway is a SGR not a light rail for carrying people alone. This was what you quoted iblawi:And your response was NairobiWalker:Now tell us who is brainless? |

NairobiWalker:Details of Abuja-Kaduna Rail Line Abuja-Kaduna is a 186km line with standard gauge railway tracks from Idu, near Abuja, to Kaduna in the north-western region of Nigeria. It has nine stations and features both passenger and cargo trains. The passenger trains on the line can operate at a speed between 200km/h and 250km/h. The travel time between Abuja and Kaduna will be reduced to one hour and each passenger train can carry up to 5,000 commuters. The cargo trains, carrying 800t of goods, will take one and half hours to travel between the two cities. The Federal Executive Council (FEC) sanctioned N1.1bn ($6.6m) in October 2014, for the procurement of two locomotives for the Abuja- Kaduna standard-gauge rail lines. |

68816419:Non of the photos you're posting are Kenyan, stupid. Would you mind naming the city to prove it? You think Kenya is like Nigeria with huge unplanned cities? Funny you mentioned so many places yet couldn't post a real photo of those places because you knew you'd blow your own bubble |

NairobiWalker:LIST OF PLANNED COMMUNITIES A planned community, or planned city, is any community that was carefully planned from its inception and is typically constructed in a previously undeveloped area. This contrasts with settlements that evolve in a more ad hoc fashion. Land use conflicts are less frequent in these communities. The term new town refers to planned communities of the new towns movement in particular, mainly in the United Kingdom. It was also common in the European colonization of the Americas to build according to a plan either on fresh ground or on the ruins of earlier Native American cities. Planned capital cities Inner Canberra, Australia. Several of the world's capital cities are planned cities, including Canberra in Australia, Brasília in Brazil, Belmopan in Belize, New Delhi in India, Valletta in Malta, Abuja in Nigeria, Astana in Kazakhstan, Naypyidaw in Burma, Islamabad in Pakistan, Ankara in Turkey and Washington, D.C., in the United States. In Egypt, a new capital city east of Cairo has been proposed. The federal administrative centre of Malaysia, Putrajaya, is also a planned city. Abu Dhabi (UAE) and some of the recently built cities in the Persian Gulf region are also planned cities, built on the money from the oil boom. Prior to the boom, these were just villages or towns. Africa Botswana The city of Gaborone was planned and constructed in the 1960s.[2] Equatorial Guinea In 2012, President Teodoro Obiang decided to move the capital to a new jungle site at Oyala. Kenya Konza Technology City is a planned city that is hoped to become a hub of African science and technology upon its completion in 2030. Nigeria The capital, Abuja, is a planned city and was built mainly in the 1980s. Several other cities are under development to accommodate the rapidly growing population, some of which include: Eko Atlantic City, a planned city of Lagos State being constructed on land reclaimed from the Atlantic Ocean. Upon completion, the new city which is still under development is anticipating 250,000 residents and a daily flow of 150,000 commuters. Centenary City, in the Federal Capital Territory, is another planned smart city under development. The city is designed to become a major tourist attraction to the country. A list of Nigerian cities and neighbourhoods that went through a form of planning are as follows: Abuja, one of the most populous planned cities, and the fastest growing city in the world. Banana Island, an affluent neighbourhood in Ikoyi, Lagos, Lagos State Bonny Island in Rivers State Centenary City in the Federal Capital Territory Eko Atlantic in Lagos State Festac Town in Lagos, Lagos State FESTAC Phase 2, the next phase for Festac has been proposed. Ikeja, the capital of Lagos State Lekki, a new city in Lagos State Lekki Free Zone, a free trade zone in the Lekki Orange Island, a planned real estate development in Lekki. Victoria Island in Lagos, Lagos State South Africa A number of cities were set up during the apartheid-era for a variety of ethnic groups. Planned settlements set up for white inhabitants included Welkom, Sasolburg and Secunda. Additionally the majority of settlements in South Africa were planned in their early stages and the original town centres still lie in a grid street fashion. Some settlements were also set up for non whites such as the former homeland capital of Bhisho.[citation needed] https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Planned_community Kenya has no single planned community. ![]() |

iblawi:Your brother has been delt a big blow with the 'normal' Kano housing I posted he's now run out of insults to trade. See, he's listing names of decent neighborhoods claiming they're slums and posting fake photos here. For instance my family lives in Langata and below is a photo of Langata that he claims is a slum. The foreground of the aerial photo is also Langata.

This video highlights the good and bad of Nairobi. And good to know the anchor is a Kenyan. Everything they posted about Nairobi can be seen here. And it was stated that indeed, Nairobi has a population of 3 million and over 2million are slum dwellers. Yet only Nigeria got issues. Y'all should continue ![]() https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UYNeHpShcFE |

Boyedex:I could post hundreds of such videos of Nigerian news anchors claiming 90℅ of Lagos is slums. Meanwhile the whole world knows over 66℅ of Lagosians live in slum. While there are many millionaires in Lagos, about 66% of the population lives in slums. In fact, the city has been dubbed the "mega-city of slums ," with millions living in and around the lagoons with no access to roads, clean water, electricity or waste disposal. The World Bank has identified 9 of the largest slums of the city for upgrading with a $200 million loan from the United States, which would benefit about one million people. One large slum is Makoko, which has no security and rampant crime.http://worldpopulationreview.com/world-cities/lagos-population/ |

NairobiWalker:You don't need to post hundreds just 2 or even 1 will do. Just make sure the video tell us 90% of lagosian live in slums. I posted a link here before now and the information was similar to this. 250,000 people in Kibera and 2.5 million people in Nairobi stay in slums. You have nothing less than 200 slums in Nairobi. Why do you think UN Habitat was located there? Secondly, most of the pics you guys posted were in this video. Enough to say you guy are posting pics from different angles of Nairobi. Nairobi is actually a small city. Accra or kumasi in Ghana would still beat Nairobi hands down. |

Boyedex:Did you observe that most of the pics they posted were in this short video? Secondly, a white farmer with black workers. Thirdly, all the nice estate they post here don't have people around because they are owned by Indians or whites. Kenya and and poverty are brothers. |
