If Fayose actually acquired those property with State funds, then I support the need to disobey this court's ruling. I prefer to be ruled by a righteous dictator that is fair to all. Isnt that your definition of God ? |

![]() This is what happens when one engages in media trial without proper investigation. It smarks of incompetence. I think Fayose took advantage of the Senate blow on Magu to strike because at the moment, EFCC will be second guessing every move. Fayoseee the boil in Buhari's balls. |

fulaniHERDSman:i had to go way back and read your posts. i am happy you can make a bold statement about PMB like this. we ahould learn to dissociate our emotions from the realities on ground. the politicial class has always used oue weakness to divide and they have really suceeded. I look forward to a new breed of youths who are objective and analytic in thier thinking. we should be thinking of how to create the much desired future we want for ourselves and our children unborn. Our leaders after the first republic have failed this country. we have never had a patrotic and nationalistic President. i will go with Atiku on restructuring or negotiating our existence as a country as he rightly pointed out even though he contributed to the mess we are in. this unitary system of government we are operating only favours the political class |

Only God knows why Vanguard is deceiving this people. Well, maybe because the newspaper knows that majority of its readers love lies and deceit. People who are interested in knowing the truth about what happened in the court yesterday should try read other newspapers versions of this story. Gullible citizens amass. SMH |

Hussb:I don't see a problem with the government refusing the court order. They are only sticking to the principles. What is laughable is that the same Nigerians hailing the government for refusing the court order to release Dasuki are the same ones complaining now. Most Nigerians are alive but are dead where it matters most. They don't have a brain to think logically with. Una never see anything. |

xtivin:The EFCC went to sleep forgetting that the order they sought had a life sign. If there was actually any investigation going on, they should have known to apply for an extension or revalidation of the order. Allowing it to lapse and then running to another court of concurrent jurisdiction is an abuse of court process and deliberate misleading of the court. The EFCC ought to have been sanctioned for that act of deceit in addition to the order to release all the seized assets. If their legal team don't know how to do their jobs then they should go get trained or get out of our faces with their cheap, opposition-inclined media trial. |

Corruption is fighting back. This is sympathetic judgement to support justices under probe. Judiciary is not only Buhari's headache, also it one of greatest problems Nigeria is facing on fighting corruption. |

This is indeed post truth era where people package lies and sell it to unsuspecting gullible people... Very sad. This same people will go to church on Sundays. You are workers of iniquity Court rejects Fayose’s request on seized assets Posted By: Eric Ikhilae, Abuja on: December 19, 2016 http://thenationonlineng.net/court-rejects-fayoses-request-seized-assets/ Nation Justice Nnamdi Dimgba of the Federal High Court, Abuja, on Monday refused the request by Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, for the release of some of his houses temporarily seized by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). Justice Dimgba had on July 20 granted EFCC an order of interim forfeiture of the properties for a period of 45 days, which lapsed on September 4. Fayose later applied to the court, after the expiration of the court’s earlier order, for the release of the properties, which comprised four units of four-bedroom at Charlets 3, 4, 6 and 9, Plot 100 Tiamiyu Salvage Street, Victoria Island, Lagos, 44 Osun Crescent, Maitama, Abuja and Plot 1504 Yedseram Street, Maitama, Abuja. In opposing Fayose’s application, EFCC described it as academic because it (commission) had secured another forfeiture order from another judge of the court, having discovered that Fayose allegedly acquired the said assets by using other individuals and firms. Justice Dimgba had on Monday heard Fayose’s lawyer, Mike Ozekhome (SAN), and EFCC’s lawyer, Kayode Latona, argued the application and counter affidavit. The judge said the EFCC could not continue to hold on to the houses on the strength of his order, which lapsed on September 4. He, however, refused to direct the EFCC to unseal the properties, citing a fresh order by Justice Okon Abang (also of the Federal High Court, Abuja) on November 3. |
