By Levinus Nwabughiogu ABUJA-Nigerian youths Tuesday told President Muhammadu Buhari that they were dying of hunger and starvation. The youths also vowed to vote the president out of office if nothing was done to alleviate their plight.

They'll again fall for the magic tongue of another politician come 2019.Nigerians should really think before voting anybody in 2019.

I see people adopting the attitude that anybody else is better than Buhari not realising that this attitude is what brought Buhari to power in the first place. We need to make sure any potential replacement we lend our support to is not worse than the current president.

Nigerian political elections are about choosing the lesser of 2 evils: there are no good candidates and as much as I detest Buhari, most of the other presidential candidates being mooted are probably worse.

If people like Sanusi - the ex-CBN governor - or Ribadu ran for president, these would be more preferable candidates. The likes of Atiku and Okorocha on the other hand should only attract the support of the feeble-minded.

Which youth are talking about? The unproductive one? No healthy, energetic and hardworking youth can cry for hunger except the lazy ones. Its an opportunity for youth to make money not to cry like baby.

The truth is the government of the day is confused. They are helpless and don't know what to do. Nobody cares about anybody, even the police don't give a damn! Any longer. All man for himself beast of no nation.

Only the strong will survive.

I like how people like to sound intelligent when spewing rubbish. How are the masses th problem when the leaders cannot provide basic needs. Agreed the youth have issues but It wasn't as bad as this in the 80's.

No youth development programme that's efficient, no good education and you expect thriving youths abi. Give a child cowbell milk a give the other baby formula then see the difference.
Zico5:
I don't believe in Nigeria again, even the greed of we the youths is even more than the so called politicians. Some have sold their souls and destinies to the devil. How do we think the country will become better. Our leaders are not the problem but we the masses.

What kind of pain are these ministers saying they know of? That they are in pain too. Are they for real?
They have food on their tables, they have money to spend, they have kids abroad, and they are here talking about feeling the pain too.
These guys should just STFU already. Trying to show they care actually make them sound stupid.

Somebody is even scared of buying indomie now....

The Nigerian youth lacks the right productive mentality and creativity. He still expecting government to spoonfeed him. The Nigerian youth walks into your office in all arrogance and when you engage him in discussion you'll discover he doesn't know anything. Worst part is that he is not interested in graduate trainee scheme. He looks at your office and feel like 'I can do your job'. The typical Nigerian youth waddle through life without ambition, without mission, without prospect, without identity and without class.
