Lotta folks here aren't really getting it.

Yusuf Buhari is the son of the President of Federal Republic of Nigeria. He's part of the First Family. He's probably entitled to security details. The Presidency takes care of the both the Office of the President and the Family of the President.

Also, impersonation is an infringement on the rights and privacy of the victim. Someone somewhere is impersonating Yusuf Buhari and that's dangerous. The impersonator is likely to be a scammer, a fraud. People are probably going to be swindled soon or later using those fake SM accounts.

So, The Presidency have dual duty to protect the image of Yusuf Buhari and the First Family, and the general public on the other hand.

And to those thinking it's an aberration not to be on any SM platforms, think again. Social Media is a distraction to some, business opportunity to others and means of connecting to some. We can't all be in love with SM. If Yusuf Buhari dealings don't make having presence on any SM a necessity, he is under no obligation to get involve in what he doesn't fancy. Some people love their privacy you know.

Let's try to avoid getting too emotional over things we could easily understand with little thinking.

By the way, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter, are not the only social media platforms we have available. So saying he's "not on any social media" is funny to me.
