the problem with the southwest and its people is fear and social insecurity. they are so insecure that they become fearful when there is nothing to fear about.

let me educate you folks about the Ezeigbo title.the Ezeigbo title is a leadership title of an igbo person over other igbos in any place.its is a leadership title used to unite igbos in a place.the Ezeigbo has no palace or stool ,he is just a leader of his people in their meetings where members are taken care off.
There are Ezeigbos in kano,USA,Brazil,India Lagos etc. These ezeigbos are just representative of their people or coordinators of the welfare of their people. They are not kings with palace and cabinet chiefs.they don't rival the kings of their host communities.

Yoruba stop being scared!
Mr man, traditional rulers are recognized by the Nigerian constitution. And this traditional ruler has said he doesn't want any 'sub community'. Period. Everyone should be an individual and answer to the king alone. If you don't like it, go back to Igboland. In the united states, almost every state has their own Chinatown. Fine. If the government decides to abolish Chinatowns, the next thing to do is shut up and abolish it. Not to be speaking rubbish grammar. Its as simple as that.

Always started by ibos if I remember clearly when tribalism first started on nairaland way back it was you ibos and the yorubas kept quiet about it for years but una ibo people continue to dey add petrol to the tribal flame before yoruba com retaliate no make am sound as if yoruba people be troublemakers na una ibo brethren dey always start war. Yorubas are peaceful people.

cheesy I no dey when una start una e-war... I wasn't on nairaland then. I definitely don't like the way a tribe fights with another tribe nau. If una no like una sef, how naija go take move forward and compete with other countries. I have Yoruba friends, I have Igbo friends too. Well I play with the Fulani kids next to us as well. There are sometimes when we fight and all that but we can't dwell on that.
Concerning the topic, I am of the opinion that if ndi Yoruba are not cool with the eze ndigbo done in their land, ndi Igbo should do it in their land or elsewhere with the go-ahead of the ruler there.
Simple right? Inatead of fighting one another.

get it that the title is a coordinative one and not a kingship one.why are you people so scared and socially insecure. that Deji need to be educated and enlightened.
Coordinative, organizing etc. We are saying same thing. That title wasn't banned ab initio. Something led to that. I've been hearing of Ezendigbo for years now, first in home movies and then I started hearing it even next door viva. Nobody is 'scared' or 'socially insecure'. Its not about that. There is order in everything and that is what the Deji is ensuring.

He can't rule against that if you all stay in ibooland and not migrate to yorubaland in search of greener pastures.
If you must stay in our land you abide by our rules or return to your villages in the east.

the Nigerian constitution guarantees freedom of association. igbos are igbos before Nigerians you don't expect them to be with out coordinators. They must have their umbrella native organization looking after their welfare.the Deji or whatever he Is,has no right to bann people from organizing themselves .let him get educated and read the constitution including his powers and its limits.

If you want to organise then go to igboland and be organising. No other tribe in Nigeria does this and still challenges the host, its only you people. Abeg go siddon. You're calling constitution and then you're saying you're Igbo's before you're Nigerians, then we as well are Yoruba's before Nigerians and we don't want any umbrella organisation in the land of our forefathers. If the one the Oba is doing is not enough then go and find where youll be arranging yourself, just not in a place ruled by a Yoruba king that has stated what he wants. Simple

I'm just looking at you because I know you're a hypocrite. If Fulani herdsmen move to Igboland to form Miyetti Allah associations in every state, you guys will start crying Islamisation or some other ridiculous thing. But as far as you're concerned, you can do as you like anywhere you go. Well, you guys will still see the end result of what you're doing, I hope you don't cry foul when it happens.

Exactly what I wanted to say. Its only when they desperately need to win an argument that they remember One Nigeria and all the trash they're spewing, if not they'd be saying all kinds of nonsense. The same set of people that want Boko Haram to succeed so that Nigeria can crumble, the same people that want every President NOT from the Southeast to fail, are the same people that are calling 'One Nigeria' now. How ridiculous

you should be worried about the north that always use the SW for political gains and dominance not igbos.we have no problems. face the north that used TINUBU, Lie Muhammed and co and openly disgraced and dumped them.be worried about the north's brutality against MKO,kudirat,Fela,Fumilayo Ransome kuti,Adisa, oladipo Diya etc and leave peaceful igbos alone.
just as you should face the north that killed your fathers, mothers, uncles, sisters, brothers and siblings during biafra war and not the yorubas that stayed on their own then.

You seem to be allergic to correct information. A number of respondents have tried to correct you on this misconception of yours', but you keep repeating it over and over again. Na wa, o! shocked Did you flunk basic comprehension courses, in school? Just asking.
