So Christians are alright and happy with Buddhists, Muslims, hindus, Ifa worshipers or even devil worshipers, it seems that the only people they have a morbid hatred for are atheists

I think it's because when we grow old, we tend to understand more on the trappings of society. We become sentimental, our worldview tends to get tinged with irrationality. Things we would refute plainly on the grounds of making no sense tends to get accepted as we mature.

This is something that is very difficult for christians to grasp, that people do not become atheists because of proselytizing of other atheists. Atheism is a personal journey of self discovery, it is not a sudden spiritual event like being born again, it sometimes takes years to come to the realization that God is of no use in your life.

Mark Zukerberg is on his own personal journey of self realization, wherever he ends up is his own cup of coffee.
