Hello NLanders, merry christmas and Happy new year in advance. So i need serious advice on something.
The music business is quite different from any other business, because it combines the knowledge of buisness management and showbiz which makes it complex. I want to start a music business, i have a proposed artiste to be signed to my label which has already been registered, but beyond that, i really do need the advice on how to go about running a record label, money is not an hindrance, but running the business is the main issue here. Should i hire a business manager, artiste manager, publicist etc, how do i know the right people for the job, should i pay them on a regular basis , or based on % on income and many other questions that has left me confused. Advice me oh, biko, make i no throway money into the air. Thank you.
