The tweets above dissing the hiptv is unfounded, firstly, Olamide holds content right over his show, if he doesn't want it to be broadcasted, hiptv cannot do otherwise. Besides, when Olamide snubbed headies award without giving his numerous fans a genuine excuse why he couldn't honour it, none of his fans commented, rather he was hailed and now that hiptv refused to promote his show now they are complaining. If Olamide wants to reach out to his numerous fans he should open a TV station now, he know dey hard oooooo

I was just going to say that.

Air time on TV is paid for and not free. If Olamide did not sign a deal with Hip TV to air the show live they could get sued for that.

Besides who sells tickets for a show and still go ahead to air the show live on TV? Na suicide be that.

For the Worldcup, TV stations pay up front to FIFA what they stand to lose in people not buying tickets just because it's on live TV.
