With the manner he went about his relationship with Nigerian football he may be the first coach that may never return to coach the national team in future. He burnt all the bridges that could lead him back to the position.

Let`s congratulate him for burning the bridges of incompetence and mediocrity. Nigeria should concentrate on hiring foreigners because those are the people we respect. If you are under the illusion that ex-internationals with principle would come back to Nigeria to mess around with the village boys that call themselves NFF officials, it won`t happen. You guys are used to official shambolism, so much so that you see nothing wrong in NFF not paying salaries for months. Yea, you lot would stay gentle and indifferent in a situation like that, wouldn`t you?

He has a reputation for spreading discord. He might be a good coach and he talks about the game with a great deal of charm and eloquence but he seems to create problems unnecessarily.

Enyeama is one of Nigeria's best ever players, not known for creating problems. All of a sudden he's gone because he wanted to give a speech at dinner. That was enough to start an argument with Oliseh - does that not sound petty to you? Do you think that such a man has the man management skills to become a great football manager/coach?

What really happened in the camp between you and Oliseh? How were treated?

When I came to camp, I had no issues with my coach. The coach has been a big part of me. He is there for me. He fought for me when I had issues with the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF). The coach defended me all the way. I have never had an issue with him.

He (Oliseh) doesn’t know me. I don’t know him. We have never played together. We have never shared a football field, together.

The first thing that happened when I first arrived at the camp was a meeting. At the meeting, the coach addressed the players. The first thing he said was that he invited four goalkeepers to camp because he never expected me to come to the camp.

Secondly, he said that I was no more the captain of the team. That he had decided and he calls the shots. That was before dinner. He ended his speech with, “Enjoy your dinner”.

For me, it was a little bit shocking because I spoke with the NFF chairman (Amaju Pinnick) during the burial of my mother in Akwa Ibom. I was trying to excuse myself from coming to the camp because of the burial. He said, “No, Vincent, you have to be in camp”. He pushed me to be in camp. And because I really respect him (Pinnick), I told him I was going to leave everything, the thanksgiving service for my late mum. I told him, I was going to abandon it and come to the camp, which I did.

All the family meetings, everything we had to do with the people in the village, I abandoned all that and came to the camp.

So, for me to get my first welcome message of being stripped of captainship was a little bit not good for me. And after I had taken my food and ate, dinner had commenced. I am just telling you what played out.

I said, “Coach, please, I would like to say something.” He said, “No, you can’t talk”. I insisted that I wanted to talk. He insisted that I can’t talk. He then said that if I wanted to talk, he would order the team out and nobody would listen to me and I would sit there and talk alone or I would have to walk out if I insisted on talking.

I said, “Coach, I still want to say something.” And he said, “Vincent, get out! You have to leave now. If you don’t leave, I’m going to call the cops, the security to throw you out of this hotel.” He used the word, “security”.

He then got up, went to the door and opened it and commanded me to go out. He said, “Go out, go out, Vincent! Or I am going to call the security.”

The coach said he was fully aware that Enyeama was burying his late mother over the weekend.

He said the row started when he had a chat with the team and registered his displeasure with the players over their output at the last training session.
Oliseh said while completing his speech, Enyeama raised his hand to speak and he told him he does not want any comment at least now, adding that the goal keeper can air his opinion privately with him afterwards.

“He (Enyeama) wanted to say something; and I said this is not the time for that because we just had a talk on how to improve our game, we will discuss private matters afterwards. He said no, he wanted to say something and I said no also I don’t want you to say anything now, please sit down we can talk later but he was adamant and he started raising his voice against me,” Oliseh said.

Oliseh continued: “It was then I told him that with all due respect, this is the Super Eagles and I am the coach and we are not going to have two coaches, I am to decide who talks and when… If you refuse to accept what I say, then it is better you go out. He was still adamant and trying to raise his voice. It was then I said it is either you leave or we (the team) leave the room for you. He refused and then I told him I will order him to be taken out because he was even stopping his teammates from having their dinner,” Oliseh said.

He was consumed by his incompetence.

Lol. No normal person can function in Nigeria. If he was the only one we would say he is the one with a problem. Every single coach in Nigeria has had the same problem with Nigerian football. Look at Okonjo Iweala. She is making money for everyone else in the world but for some strange reason couldn't function in Nigeria. Nigerians don't even think their corruptive ways are a problem anymore. The things you guys are used to. Smh.

mouriho is worse....yet clubs are still after him...coaches are human beings too.....and please spare me this enyaema issue...he is no saint!!!!

Mourinho only starts causing trouble within the clubs that he works for once he has become acclimatized to the environment. That's when he antagonizes everyone, both within and outside of the club. Even then he's usually won a couple of trophies by then so other teams are willing to give him another chance. Oliseh has no such track record.

Oliseh showed a lack of tact from the beginning - one man can't challenge everyone at once, you should aim to get the senior players onside first. Oliseh showed an unwillingness to do so.

It's one thing to ostracise Enyeama if you have someone in mind who will come in and do better but it's clear that he had no such plans so why did he do if not for a complete lack of awareness and self-control?

Which university in the Philippines are these faces from? Are you also telling Nigerians that Philippines has a lot of security issues right now, or you are in a position to guarantee the security of Nigerians that end up there?

As long as he doesn't EVER coach the Super Eagles again, I wish him success...he was a Lilly-livered coward who cost us participation in 2017 AFCON, as well as the resignation of Enyeama and Emenike...he can buzz off for all I care.
He is not Lily levered man just frustrated with Nigeria. He lashed out at those he could talk to and deal with,When that did not work he ran away. To work for, you must be able to condole a lot of nonsense
