The Nigerian Army on Wednesday said it had recovered Abubakar Shekau’s Qur’an and flag in Camp Zero, the Boko Haram’s Headquarters in Sambisa forest.

Maj.-Gen. Lucky Irabor, the Theatre Commander of Operation Lafiya Dole, said this while giving newsmen update on “Operation Rescue Final’’ in Maiduguri.

“We believe that the Holy Book and the flag were abandoned by Abubakar Shekau while he escaped.

“The Book will be taken to the Chief of Army Staff, Lt.-Gen. Tukur Burutai, for onward presentation to Mr President.

“We have also made a lot of arrests. Our troops in Damboa arrested about 15 Boko Haram members. We also arrested one Musa from Potiskum on Christmas day which was Dec.25.

“On Dec. 26 our troops also intercepted two Boko Haram suspects in Maiduguri.

“We, therefore, warn residents of the state to be wary of people coming to hide in and around their houses.

“We are also warning residents to report any suspected Boko Haram members hiding in their houses to the relevant security agencies and any failure to do that would tantamount to supporting and sympathising with the sect’s activities,’’ Irabor said.(NAN)

Laying down the foundation my poo. Even the IB is ashamed of himself right now seeing how PMB has decisively dealt with a terrorist sect he couldn't deal with in five years, in less than two years, with far less budget.

If any good thing happens to Nigeria, Jonathanians shamelessly rush to say the foundation was laid by the docile president. And if any bad thing hapens as an obvious outcome of GEJ's misgorvernance, they again shamelessly blame the current govt that is clearing the mess left behind by the incompetent GEJ.

It must suck to be a Jonathanian.

A badly managed economy caused by PMB Policy reversals and Summersalts, indecision by Buharis Managers of the National Economy and lack of initiatives on how to handle the FX imbroglio caused largely by PMB and his Economic Team all led to Nigeria's current economic woes.

Funny mate. So what happened to Nigeria when oil was sold about $150 PB? What happened when the price of crude crashed at the International market? How much did the previous administration left in our ECA and external reverse? Have you ever heard something called "saving for raining days"?

If we want to talk about bad managers, then we will clearly talk about the last administration that didn't know there was something called "diversification". You are running a mono-economy, you saw a sign that the price of your only export product will crashed right before you eyes, what were you supposed to do? The only thing they did was the TSA thing which they actually wanted to implement after they won an election they were not sure of.

Look young man, gej and his economic team nuked the Nigeria economy even before the 2015 election, and unfortunately, buhari took over the mantle of leadership.

What were gej economic blueprints? All he and his dumb team were blabbering about was "Nigeria is the biggest economy in Africa" which was all on paper.
