na wa o! 30k 2much..the issue with my current one is the fact that the phone developed a screen burn..tried using some screen burn tool but still no show..though I intend getting an s6 pretty soon.

I have downloaded all the Samsung usb drivers for windows I could find online, downloaded samsung KIES, plus smart switch and installed all on my computer. however my laptop still can't recognize the phone. please I need assistance. it's a windows 8.1 hp laptop

Factory Reset the Phone and try Connecting to the PC again

Try with another PC, preferably a Mac or a PC with Linux installed; they don't need drivers.

Is the phone rooted?
Is it carrier branded?
Try to use a WiFi network to check.

no its not rooted. It's unbranded and I've used WiFi. It's g900f

If you have a PC you can download the firmware from Sammobile and update manually using Odin.
