In 1967, during the early days of the Biafran war, Professor Wole Soyinka was accused of being a Biafran spy. The photo was taken the day he was arrested by the Nigerian police. He was put in solitary confinment for 2 years.

9ja keeps getting worse on a daily. If it were today he were arrested (9 vans of police+DSS and 1 military van picked up at 1oclock in the morning in his boxer/p.j's, he'd be beat up if there are no cameras if there are cameras he'd be beat up behind the scene)God knows.
