A warning to all Igbos to beware of their romance with former President Olusegun Obasanjo has been given by the Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra on Monday. The group stated that the closeness of Obasanjo to some Igbo leaders spells doom for Ndigbo.


According to a statement by the leader of MASSOB, Uchenna Madu: “His current political antics, romance and friendship in Igbo land is suspect and dangerous to the political survival of Ndigbo in Nigeria.

“During his eight year tenure as Nigeria President, he consciously and wilfully created political problems for Ndigbo. “He initiated several political frustration against Abia, Anambra, Enugu, Imo states during the tenure of Orji Uzor Kalu, Chinwoke Mbadinuju, Chimaraoke Nnamani.

“Obasanjo denied Igbo land infrastructural development, he politically witch haunted our people. He also mesmerised Ndigbo by changing Igbo senators five times in office of Senate president.

“Today Igbo governors of Abia, Ebonyi and Enugu States are celebrating him by inviting him to commissioned projects in their respective states.

“During his eight year rule, he never visited Dim Chukwuemeka Ojukwu or showed concerns to his position as Igbo leader.” the statement read in part.

The group alleged that Obasanjo was working secretly through “some disgruntled Igbo politicians to destabilise the developing cohesion among Igbo leaders”.

No one in the history of Nigeria have done more for ibos than Obasanjo, not even your god Ojukwu.
He created a new crop of Ibos leaders and none of could garner enough support from ibos to seek higher offices.
The only thing fashionable for them is to blame hausa and yoruba for all their problems.

The same man that gave ojukwu, ur comedian hero, amnesty and a presidential pardon, na him u dey turn against?

Name just two leaders OBJ groomed from the South East? Name just one remarkable project that he did for the said region during his eight years rule. This questions are before you to prove to non Nigerians how hypocritical some of you can be. Answer them with proofs.
I'm from Anambra and I know how evil Obasanjo was towards my state. All he sponsored through the Uba brothers to sustain anarchy there but the same Ojukwu of blessed memory whom you love to hate stepped in and paved the way for the giant strides we are enjoying today through APGA. I'm not one of those uninformed guys you argue with here. I know my history and the politics of this evil contraption very well. I await your answer.
