Hello guys!!

I have been struggling with something over the past few years. I have grown spiritually but I used to be addicted to porn. I deleted any porn related video or picture from my phone since September 2016 but I am still having those images flashing in my head every once in a while. Sometimes, I still think about my secondary school mates. And get this, I graduated since 2009.

Nairalanders, i need your input. Is it possible to just flush out all thoughts of sex and if yes, how do i do it?

Pornography rewires the brain in a way that the images are burned into it and can't be removed, watching porn sends "feel good" chemicals to the brain just like any addictive substance

It takes time. A long time.

Its like after clearing out refuse from your house, the odour may still linger for much longer.

The key is persistent cleanliness AND Replacement of thoughts with edifying themes.
