Some people will be watching while the so called Afonja and Aboki companies submit their bids, later they will be shouting "our oil money" & "marginalization"

Well, it's their problems, they are used to collecting amnesty.

This is why Tinibu refuse to support Jonathan cos of this oil deal. He has now suceeded. Buhari has bribed him against 2019. God will fight for this country.

Lol, in 1967 when the forebears of the Tonyebacarnisters of the Southsouth travelled to Kaduna to beg former governor of Northern Nigeria, Hassan Katsina, to beg Gowon to carve out non Igbo speaking areas of the old eastern region from Biafra, that's when the people in the Nigerdelta lost it all.

But Jonathan was as good as blind. He had no political conviction.
Fear of the north was the foundation of Jonathan's presidency.

Now he has to watch the North share the oil blocks in his backyard.

Haa, Jonathan?? Blind?? Lol! And why did u think diezani was his oil minister? If he was so controlled by d north, why didn't he give them d petroleum portfolio. This same Jonathan was lobbied by oando, mrs & all these oil companies. You know nothing. CEO's (in govt industries) and Nigerian presidents are like 5 & 6. There is no tribe or political alliance at dt level. Even if ur company is d most qualified, u will still oil hands - wt the NNPC GED's, wt the petroleum ministry & wt d presidency.

As far as companies are concerned (both local & multinationals), bribing the presidency is a necessary evil.

"Stay on nairaland and make more enemies...while they continue recycling the money amongst themselves." my comment of the day. Making more enemies because of politicians who can't tell if you ever existed or not is the most senseless act ever. "Goodluck Jonathan my hero... Buhari is the best... PDP dis APC dat"
Dey wia all hia adding more enemies to already existing countless numbers while Jonathan and his gangs of thieves were sharing our common wealth with no concern, buhari's kitchen cabinets were getting involved in all kinds of corruption you could ever imagine under the nose of the very same buhari. Incompetence ministers and appointees, poor economy plans, stone age style of governance by dos tifs and rogues who parades demselves as governor, criminal holding country to ransom for "it is our oyil"n yet, dos who never benefited from even a drop would not let us b hia with dia religious and tribal bigotry . some kp praying for this hardship dey are also experiencing to continue so dey could find more reason to kp castigating the current administration. "braindead". Produce one anti-pdp comment from Zahra buhari or one anti-apc post from Jonathan's daughter or son den I give up. Una c Jonathan daughter wedding ceremony? What about buhari Zahara own? Na una money dey work. Instead of una to unite and put all dos tifs wey no get plan for una for one place, unu dey mumu upandan.
Leaders of tomorrow? #yimu.

Even the savage barbarian, Murtala Muhammed son dey there! Never knew AMG Petroleum was owned by him. The north has finally settled the young man for his father's services to the Northern Oligarchy. Nigeria truly is on a long long thing!

Firstly u need to know what ur talking before u start the talking. These have nothing to do wt oil wells. U are clearly confused.

The oil business has different sectors. Oil well ownership & production is different from the government crude oil marketers (which this list is showing). They are also different from product marketers (which includes importers & internal retailers who have petrol stations). Then u have refining companies, who buy crude, refine & sell products. Then u have several servicing companies providing specialized services such as technical management, storage, security, servicing, transportation .etc. for oil firms.

So u really believe there is no niger deltan company anywhere in this value chain? I know for a fact Sahara energy is owned by a nigerdeltan & a Yoruba man. They are also in almost every sector of d oil business. They are d largest indigenous crude traders in Nigeria, Ivory Coast & some other African countries. They are also involved in product sales - majoring in aviation fuel.

There's nothing special about this list. It's bn these same companies lifting (buying & selling) crude from d FG for a very long time. Only difference, chevron (downstream) was bought by MRS.
Good post. Many people whinning here do not understand this business.
Govt has not gifted or "dashed" portions of the nation's oil to these people.
In this era of chronic oil glut, these companies are actually helping Nigeria find takers for the oil.
making money as commission from the buyers and not any discount from the govt.
NNPC does not give discount on these allocations.
Every barrel is fully paid for according to the prevailing international market price.
The lifting companies make money from the buyers and not at the expense of Nigeria.
Above all, participation is available to all thro the Nigeria Stock Exchange.
Anybody can start lifting crude oil right now by accumulating the shares of oando, mrs and eterna oil
which are freely availalable.

see how these unless people are allocating oil to their friends and families members, now someone would come up and say buhari is fighting corruption. they are killing our refineries and sending our crude oil to foreign countries.

God go punish you
