Substantial things like security and welfare are conspicuous by their absence in your comment. Are u impliedly admitting that your god doesn't actually offer these things??

I, as a person, enjoy a rich knowledge of the interpretations of Prophecy found in the Bible, which has played out and is playing exactly as the Bible foretold it out before our very eyes. That same knowledge prepares me for future events, especially as we are near the end of the world. Something muslims and atheists don't have.

The gift of prophecy didn't help Christians prepare better for the recession. If anything, prophecy was a disadvantage because major men of God prophesied that recession will end before the end of last year ..

I as a person don't want to live longer than GOD has planned for me in this world where I'm surrounded by sin. I long to be in that holy city and see my Maker face to face.

The Holy Spirit guides me. I'm a testimony. He also explains prophecy to me. Jesus told us that we will have tribulation in this world. But then, we are not afraid because He overcame the world.

All in all, u have failed to point to anything of note that u enjoy as a Christian, just the usual things everybody claims including atheists...

When I say prophecy, I mean the prophecy found in the Bible.

Our GOD is able to protect and provide for us. But even if He chooses not to do so, we will still trust Him because we know its the best for us.

Matthew 24: 25-34, Mark 13:26-30, Luke 21: 27-32 all repeat this prophecy so..

So your god can choose not to provide for you and protect you even though it doesn't cost him anything... Meaning, he can allow his child to starve to death or get their heads smashed to pieces while watching on??... Apart from the bizarreness of this declaration, what is the basis for it in the bible

It's about almost thesame thing, the benefit of Christianity to Christians is that it brought us out of darkness into light. In other words, we escaped the ignorance of our former ways.

But thesame bible said in the world you would have tribulation but cheer up, l have overcomed the world. So at least Christianity gives those Christians in Haiti hope even in their suffering, with that hope they may overcome the suffering and have courage to turn things around.
