What was Conte employed for? to be getting disgraced home and away by Bayern or to be crashing out in the group stage to Galatasaray?

Did Conte not inherit players too? Everything Conte did, Allegri has done and even more. Conte lost home and away to Bayern, Allegri dragged Bayern into extra time, Conte was crashing to Galatasaray in the group stage, Allegri has never failed to make it beyond the group stages
