Your wrong you can import new or used cars for sale within the United states. Davidif is right a quick Googlesearch would have told you this.

do me a favor,paste me link of car listed for sale in US that has a Foreign plate number like we use to see in Nigeria,there are lot of car dealers on ebay,craiglist,just paste me a link of car listed for sale with UK,Germany,Japan or Naija plate number like we use to see in Lagos,i doubt if you will see any car like that,that shows know one is buying used cars overseas and sell in US.

here on nairaland,many cars are posted for sale with foreign plate number,just help me with just a link of car listed for sale in US with foreign plate number to show is seller got it from oversea and trying to sell in US,since you live in US,this should be easy for you to do,paste me the link.

You need to take reading lessons. You keep switching arguements because you refuse to cure your ignorance by reading. You can buy and sell used or foreign cars. All the cars in USA have to be registered in certain amount of days. Part of registration is getting us plate number and registration. Read links people are providing you.

Now I can also.import a range rover sport from the EU to the US but I have to register it b4 I can sell it that's what they call a tittle.Every civilized country have used car market locally or imported . There's no law here that says you have to register an import here before you sell it.

My friends and I have sold many U.K. imports with just the import paperwork.

Yes. Both countries do allow used vehicles.

For yoit own sanity the answer to your question is yes they do.Most Range Rovers are built in Britain and shipped to the USA and Canada . Same thing we import loads of cars from Japan to the UK cos they are RHD .

So basically what the FG is now saying if I buy a car in say Mali . I have to put it on a ship round half the map of Africa instead of driving it fru land unto Nigeria . .I give up for our leaders

Well it won't stimulate local production cos you are still allowed to import via the sea and airport . The issue of land borders I recon dwells on smugling and corruption
