5) That cash found with Diezani belonged to Nigeria not her personal fund with evidence...

and so many other legal hiccups...

I think it was high time we realize that defense of any perceived corrupt practice under any guise by anybody is a disservice to the masses. Buhari government's probe of corrupt officials in the previous administration is imperfect, but it is worthwhile. Any attempt to justify opposition to this attempt will embolden men to engage in ruthless thieving of the resources meant for the masses. Already, members of his cabinet are under fire for corrupt practices, which is good for the generality. If he fails to prosecute his helsmen involved, we should equally condemn and take action to removing him from power. Let us be reminded that partisanship should not be extended to corruption. It is a greater injustice for what belongs to a suffering million to be stolen by a few. I support neither GEJ nor PMB. Doing that is like sticking ones neck out for the guillotine, because they will always fail me with their elitist partisanship. I advise everyone to do same. He that stole cannot complain of injustice, Ibori was convicted, yet Odili was not. Why? Ibori's case was decided outside this country where we pay more attention to honour among thieves. I'm sure if GEJ was asked to react to this shameful stealing by Diezani, he'd probably say "I don't think it's possible for Diezani to steal $153 million dollars like that".

The problem with this your advocated style of fighting corruption is that it creates a sit-tight syndrome, it impedes peaceful transition of power. If one party knows it is guilty of malfeasance and might be probed by an incoming opposition party, it does everything possible to hold on to power. Every wrong solution to any problem produces a negative consequence. Whatever worth doing, they say worth doing well. There is nothing bad in fighting corruption, however it must be holistic, no person irrespective of party affiliation must be spared and it must not be seen as selective or vindictive. Any apc member accused of corrupt practice should not be spared of prosecution.
