Im not sure it has come that low. it has hovered around $890-910 today. Naira equ is about 453k. you can confirm from coindesk and bitx

the recent volatility is likely related to issues in China (where the bulk of trading occurs) in which their central bank was alleged to have discouraged bitcoin use.

It may however regain some stability soon

Quite true. I bought $100 worth of btc about 2 weeks back and now my account is reading $120! not bad
