pls my fellow nairalanders, i have been a Petroleum Engineering graduate since 2012, finished service 2016, and since den i moved to lagos jn search of a job. @ OP, I understand your plight but thinking of taking your precious life is totally unacceptable. You have your certificate which shows you have really prepared yourself for future and am sure soonest opportunity will come knocking. God will smile at you bro, don't loss hope.

Guy pls don't take ur life. it's not over yet. Keep ur faith alive. Something good is coming ur way. I feel ur pain bro. My self need job as well. But d option is keep pushing ahead.

Please don't think of such things. I believe God will give you one this year.

i finished in 2010 and did nysc in 2011/2012 but i am not employed yet. i want to come to lagos and see what i can do there. so if you are thinking of killing yourself what will i do?

Just keep hope alive and that job you are looking for will come, its not easy! its frustrating but just keep hope alive! Keep pushing for it dont feel defeated and you will get it! I am also searching for a job but i know say 2017 na the year!

the end justifies the means.....its a matter of time.never give up make sure You are not lazy try to engage in any legitimate work.like Me now Am a mechanical graduate,passed out of service 2015 for now na prepaid meter I they install for IBEDC even though the work isnt stable work today wait till another next 2-3 Months before another meter arrive. I thank I see place go to not just sitting back @ home doing nothing there is nothing frustrating like idleness.... pls cutting of ones Head is never a solution to ones headache oh.its well with God all things are possible.

We all have our individual challenges. I think it time we have to rely on our hands than school certificate. If u can think of a solution to an immediate problem in ur environment, that's the start point to greatness.

It's shocking how so many people seem to be experiencing a similar struggle. Bruh, me sef dey find work o, tired of sitting at home idle, especially when there's no electricity then all sorts of thoughts flood your mind. I looking for a graphic design or hotel job as well. I don't mind starting from ground level. The pain is too overwhelming.
