If you take your own life it simply means that you lost out... big time! You'll loose your family and friends! You'll loose the opportunities that would've surely come around your way in the nearest future! You will loose your (future) wife and kids. You will loose your grandchildren. You will never know What is means to grow old.

Goodness me, What you will loose is simply too much as compared to What you stand to gain (from suicide).

Weigh your options carefully and see for self that suicide might fail you in the end!

Before you get too religious with your fasting and prayer. Here are questions you should answer.

1. Can we see your CV. Many Nigerian graduates do very horrible resumes and expect to get a job.

2. What type of skills do you have, do you just have a certificate and expect to land a great job?

3. What have you done in terms of volunteering to get skills?

4. What have you tried out on your own?

5. What are you doing to network with the people in the field you hope to get a job? Are you attending conferences?

6. Your approach in this post already shows why you are not getting a job, and why many like you would be jobless for many years. Saying that you would kill yourself sounds like the world owes you something that if not given there would be consequences. No! The world owes you nothing. The better approach would have been to come to the forum and seek suggestions on how to get a job, rather than threatening.

7. Self reflect, and go out there. No one owes you nothing! If you kill yourself, life all over the world continues. Don't be a fool!

You graduated in 2012 and finished service in 2016? Please don't kill yourself;it's not worth it.

Never despise the days of little beginnings, you had thought after school you will enter one rig and enjoyment continues.

I started once through a nobody job, now I thank God where I am. If I had a job I won't offer you cause one day you will just think about suicide if the salary is delayed.

So, you cant get a teaching job around or anything. Dangote never started as a billionaire after schooling. He once sold sweets. Always try to be contented when looking forward.

Some couldn't even go to school, but they are still thankful, they never relented, thinking that one day God will answer them.

I won't tell you not to commit suicide. It's your life but remember it's not yours alone owing to the ripple effects it will have on your loved ones but who am I to stop someone from making a choice. But I have a problem with you. Its the same problem I have with most youths like me this days. Its good to pray and fast. But can you devote more time to self development? It's only in Africa we believe fasting and prayers land people jobs. Well, with my little knowledge it doesn't. I don't know any where God gives people jobs( maybe you do) God only only opens the door of opportunities and if you are prepared for it , then fine for you. Its true jobs are hard to get but people still get them nevertheless but surely not by fasting and praying at home expecting one miracle to happen. so brother, work more on yourself, explore other opportunities as you are doing now( even though they may be meager) and pray for God to bless your efforts.t

op you don't have to commit suicide cos' you have no job. Thousands of unemployed youths are outside there not giving up in their dreams. If you read john maxwell books very well u will quickly change your mind and ask for God direction for your life. It is not about committing suicide but been doing great things in your lives. Never give up. If john maxwell and the likes have give up, millions of people won't be hearing him up till this moment. We all know we are in recession but that doesn't stop us not to move on in lives. Don't give up pls. Life is too precious for you to commit suicide. Great jobs and helper are coming your way and me. I was hopeless and jobless until I read about fiverr on Nairaland now I make over 400k a month. Bros I am my boss and work from home I didn't wait for anyone to employ me. Just look harder and inward you will discover what you can do. By the way what I'm doing currently doesn't have any connection with what I studied........One thing is going to school and another is hustle spirit. Dump that certificate if need be, fold your sleeves and soil your hands.

I hated writing in school that I headed for Engineering but when life and poverty tried to strangle me no be person tell me to begin write. Now I earn my living writing while my certificate is chilling somewhere I can't remember.

Most problem the youths face after graduation isn't lack of job but the certificate itself. Once they issue us this useless cerficates we automatically throw away our thinking cap cos our minds have been programmed to get a good job

My post is going to be lengthy.

The first thing I deduced from your post is you want to live that is why you posted this. If you sit down to think of death like I have, the fear of taking your own life would cripple you. People who want to commit suicide never even tell anyone, they just do it.

You might be thinking you are in the worst situation. No, you're not, there are many people on NL who are in worse situations than you. You're even staying at ajah, enjoyment. Some people are living in slums. At least you can pay for net to tell us to pity you so you don't commit suicide.

Noone is going to pity you. Noone is going to give you a job. Noone is going to give you money. From my experience, PEOPLE ARE ONLY GOING TO LISTEN TO YOUR STORY BUT NOT WILLING TO PARTICIPATE IN YOUR SUFFERING. The only type of people that get job from online are the people that show the works of their hands. E.g., makeup artists, engineers, architects, runs girls, etc.

The only person that can give you a fulfilling life is yourself. Even if it means being shady. I'm not saying you should rob but being good never paid anybody. No mater how you wail or wait, noone is going to participate in your suffering, only listen. So quit whimpering.

And if you are still adamant about killing yourself, just wait till March. We can do it together.
