FG To Probe Jim Obazee's Tenure As FRCN Boss / Buhari Sacks Jim Obazee, Orders Reconstitution Of FRC Board (2) (3) (4)

Why Buhari Sacked Jim Obazee, FRC Boss – Fayose by PMBNG(m): 4:56pm On Jan 10, 2017
EKITI State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, has described the sack of the Executive Secretary of the Financial Regulatory Council of Nigeria, Jim Obazee, in connection with the implementation of the controversial Corporate Governance Code 2016 as an afterthought and cover-up to stem the tide of negative public reactions to the implementation of the controversial law that stripped the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, and others of their positions.

This was contained in a release issued in Ado Ekiti on Tuesday and signed by the Governor’s Special Assistant on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka.

Governor Fayose said: “When they realised the implication of their action on President Muhammadu Buhari’s 2019 ambition, especially a personality like Pastor Adeboye that’s involved, they quickly sacked an innocent man who must have acted on instruction.

“Obviously, their attention is more on 2019, not on justice and any love for the sustenance of Christianity in Nigeria. Mind you, they have only suspended the implementation of the regulation, they did not abrogate it. It is obvious that they have an agenda. And if you look at the president’s pattern of life, he is a sectional leader, whose appointments reflect sectionalism and nepotism.”‎

Fayose said it was funny that a president that is over 70 years will be the one to implement a regulation limiting the age of General Overseer of Churches to 70 years, asking: “If men of God like Pastor Adeboye, Pastor W. F. Kumuyi, Bishop David Oyedepo, Bishop Mike Okonkwo and others cannot be GO of their church beyond 70 years of age, how do we now justify a man like President Buhari who is over 74 and still willing to be president beyond 2019 that he will be 77?”‎

Governor Fayose, who described those defending President Buhari by claiming that the law was made when Dr. Goodluck Jonathan was president as hypocrites, asked: “Even if the law was made before President Buhari assumed office, who is to blame for its implementation? Could President Buhari have implemented a law he does not believe in and could the sacked FRC boss that they have now used as the sacrificial lamb have implemented the law without the consent of the Presidency?”‎

He questioned the speed at which the President reacted by sacking the FRC boss, asking: “Why was there no such swiftness in his action on Southern Kaduna killings where a race was almost wiped out, with people killed like goats? Why didn’t the President react swiftly to the Senate indictment of the EFCC Acting Chairman, Ibrahim Magu?

“Obviously, it was an afterthought, which was aimed at dousing the negative outcry that greeted the action by using the sacked FRC boss as the fall-guy.

“This has further made it very clear and evident that Buhari is not a leader, he is ruler. He is a religious apologist that believes that he must silence anybody that does not believe in his line of thought either politically or religious wise.

“Sadly, all those things that we have forgotten and never thought will happen again in this country are now happening. The country is now badly divided more than ever before.

“Nigerians have been able to read through President Buhari in this short time to realise that all he is doing now is to destroy this country like he did in 1984, but God will not allow him.”‎

A body that can't interfare, organize and solve the controversial issues bothering a branch of its body... I wonder..... Now let's view it from God's angle, ''touch not my anointed and do my prophet no harm'' Mr. Ex FRC boss, you trespassed your boundry........ Enjoy the soup....

My main point is...... I've never given a f*** in my life and it won't start now........................

So Buahari forgot Pastor Adeboye has influence on the electorate when they passed the law? They now remembered after the deed has been done?

This Fayose self!

For your information and the gullible ones, the code was implemented during GEJ era. When GEJ was confronted, he pointed that the man at the helm is a Redeem(ed) pastor. The Obazee was once accused of sexual harassment by one his senior staff members who's also a RCCG pastor's wife. May be that's why he was suspended or resigned from being a pastor and wanted to revenge. As Adegboruwa wrote yesterday, the church has been court for some time to challenge the law. It was when they lost that the respected G.O complied.

The issue is more of power tussle within RCCG. Read Mr Adegboruwa's article of yesterday, another RCCG pastor advising our refereed G.O not to follow the path of Yahya Jammeh of the Gambia. Most of the pastors want to fly private jets around the world too and and have unfettered access to church money.

That is the result of church building their treasure on earth. They display so much wealth and pay lip service to soul winning and service to mankind as admonished by our Lord Jesus Christ.

It is an abomination for men of God to bully people around with body guards and armed security men. Nothing Christ-like again about Nigerian church. The glory people see, desire and they want to die for is money, money and more money.

The difference between them and wicked politicians is the difference between 5 and 6.

Politician don't respect them, they only respect their influence on their naive followers for votes.

I have been following the Obaze story since 2013. Trust me, it is not a PMB arrangement... Obaze brought personal beef to his office! Before he became Executive Secretary of FRC, he instigated a revolt against Adeboye, being a Zonal pastor in RCCG at that time. He actively left Redeemed and resigned as a pastor in Redeem afterward.

Upon his appointment, as the ES of FRC in 2011, he started using his office to fight Adeboye in the name of Finacial Laws. The same guy was used against Sanusi, when Sanusi blew the Whistle about missing NNPC funds. The same guy fought the MD of Stanbic IBTC for personal reason, until the woman went to court, and received backing from CBN, before he kept quiet!

His antecedents are clear enough for all to see...

Isn't it surprising that every laws and codes passed by GEJ, are being activated by PMB.

The last time i checked Pastor Adeboye is not the founder of RCCG and he isn't bothered with Church money.

Why dont you speak for your Jihadist fighters and leave Christians alone .

I don't blame the dumb kids but the cowardly PMB who chickened out of implementing a very nice law but choosed to sacrifice an innocent man who was abiding by the rules. He, PMB, will continue to be rubbished by the toutish Fayose, Wike and all the dumb kids.

At this point, it is safe to assume that the government has more information than we do.

It has been alleged that the man acted overzealous and highhandedly. Said he used his powers to fight his perceived enemies both within and outside redeem.

I am all for charging those religious organizations, but clarity of purpose should be the guiding principle of every government policy.

If there's any truth to the rumors making the rounds, then he deserves to be sacked.

God Almighty, we thank you for giving us Governor Fayose at this very tumultuous times. God we are very grateful for your ever loving care over Nigeria and its people, and especially over Judah who are now called Yoruba, and Benjamin, who are now called Igbo. Thank you O Almighty Father for not forsaking us in this very dark hour. Thank you O Almighty God for not allowing these agents of evil to overcome us, and silence us all.

Fayose, son of Judah, you are under the protection and cover of The Almighty God, not a single strand of hair on your head will be singed, and if they attempt any nonsense, God will be waiting for them.

Obazee was only used as a fall guy, we are not deceived angry
