Amakyzuu:
Are the questions not the same?... The day I wrote there were some engineers that came too... I saw mech and chemical so am not sure about elect... But we answered same questions as stated in the earlier posts...
I can't even remember the questions exactly but I remember there was one on flow rate, one on bread baking, storing of wheat, methods of transportation of flour products... All these questions in addition to Maths and English questions... I studied food science... Good luck
thanks a lot

A passport photograph is important. that's the one she'll actually request. Wish you success.

Are the tests still ongoing beyond this week or it's just this week scheduled for the Elect./Elect. guys? I am guessing the next stage would come up after everyone is done writing the tests.

I have been forgetting to say this everytime I come online but thank God I remember now. It might prove useful to those yet to write the tests.

It might have come as a surprise to some that they got regret mails despite the feeling of having done generally well in the tests. I think knowing how the tests were scored and the successful ones picked could allay some feelings of regret (pun unintended).

After having read some threads on previous FMN Graduate Trainee recruitments and studying the structure of the tests themselves, I have come to a conclusion. As a refresher, the tests were (maybe are still) in 4 sections viz: Analogy and Antonyms, Logical Reasoning, Verbal Reasoning (Sentence Correction actually) and Problem Solving and the questions totalled 60 in number. Now, the thing is one would ordinarily expect anyone who scored above a cut-off to scale/ace the test, except that I think the you need to score above average overall and in the specific sections. This is what I mean; If you scored, let's say 65% overall and you scored less than 50% in any of the sections, you're not going to scale through unlike someone who scored let's say 55% and still managed to get above 50% in each and every of the sections would scale through. Therefore a person might perceive him/herself as having performed generally well but perhaps didn't do quite alright in maybe Analogy and Antonyms may be consternated to get a regret mail.

N.B.: These are just my thoughts based on what I have read on NL about FMN (while they still used Dragnet to conduct the test stage) and I haven't gotten by inside source to confirm this.

PS: I'll be happy to be corrected since its for the good of all of us.

Thanks.

Great observation but I strongly doubt your premise. To a very large extent, the problem solving wasn't an issue for me but the other sections were just something else. I doubt if I scored up to 30% in the other sections but I got a success mail.

Nice one. So maybe a cut-off was used then or a general average.

Anyways, we thank God we scaled through. Now that we are fairly sure that the next stage is interview rounds, who's got any idea how the interviews run. What do we expect?

There are actually a few. Use the search feature. Just type in Flour mills graduate trainee and search, you'll get a list of threads containing those key words, it's now left to you to do more sniffing smiley

Hello Peeps,

Congrats to those that have gotten success mails and to the rest, all hope not lost.
Please I need some advice on this:
I was scheduled for today, 12.00pm, Elect Elect. But I don't think I would be chanced.
Though I've sent a reply for reschedule but I'm also thinking if I could go tomorrow or Saturday for mine since it's a CBT.

what do you think guys??

Take a chill pill o. FMN has a not-so-good reputation for delayed and unpredictable recruitment processes especially for entry levels. It's a reputation, mind you, which means they have done it quite a number of times in the past. Having known this, I think you should understand and be patient. Put your energy to other things that will take your mind a little off FMN but continue to prepare for the next stage in the meanwhile.

Sorry bro., the vacancy has been closed since October last year. However you can regularly check fmnplc.com/careers for open positions. FMN recruits year in year out.
