Nigerian Woman Sparks Outrage In Finland After Winning Their Beauty Pageant ...


A Nigerian lady, Sephora Iklaba, 19, who was crowned Miss. Helsinki on Friday is currently stirring up dust after news filtered out that she is a Nigerian.

Many furious Finns have taken to social media to disagreed with her win. According to a report on Barstool, Fans of the competition felt that Sephora, who is a Yoruba-Nigerian should not have been able to enter as she was not born in Finland while others felt she was not beautiful enough.

"Hundreds, who felt she lack the good looks to win, took to social media to voice their opinions.

One Facebook user wrote: “Political correctness won. She’s damn ugly and not even from Finland.” Another commented: “This is disgraceful and biased.” And a third added:

“It’s not that she’s black, it’s that she’s the least beautiful of all the entrants.”

Most of us confused being pretty with being beautiful.

There’s a difference between pretty and beautiful. When someone is pretty, the person has a good appearance, but when someone is beautiful, the person shines on the inside and out.

Miss "Helsinki" won by a Nigerian is surely a political stunt played by the organizers to either promote racial equality or beat the drums of war between black and white. I for one won't be happy if Miss "Nigeria" is won by a white immigrant from Brazil #fact. It's just wrong from the organizers. The winner was an immigrant and should not even participate.

Please before you quote wrongly how about we have our next Miss ABUJA pageants with participants from India, Brazil and Singapore and in the end please award the title of MISS ABUJA to a Brazilian.

Political correctness gradually destroying the west. WTF is this world turning into? A bunch of hyper-sensitive, everything goes, dishonest and azz kissing people now populate the world.

In fairness to the complainant, why would such a woman even consider going for a beauty pageant. This is not about racism. Would she have won any beauty pageant in Nigeria? This controversy should have been avoided. She shouldn't have won. Though I learnt that ugly black woman actually look more beautiful in the eyes of some white people. It is possible some of the judges fall in this category of people.
