Gionee has released another budget smartphone, the Gionee Steel 2. It's really a simple device with simple features seen on most budget smartphones.

The Gionee Steel 2 comes with a 5 inch HD IPS display of 293ppi which technically is the standard screen size for most budget devices.

The Steel 2 also features a 3GB of RAM, two different storage variants of 16GB and 32GB.

The device also comes with a primary camera of 8 Megapixels and a secondary camera of 5 Megapixels. It comes with Gionee's Amigo OS based on Android 6.0 marshmallow and has a non removable battery of 4000maH.

For now the Gionee Steel 2 is only available in China for just CNY 1,229. No official news when it will be available in the international market.

its a matter of choice..I personally dont like higher than 5inches...

remember that this same phone would have cost 25k or thereabouts in 2014...

the normally phones from 100 dollars to 200 dolls are considered cheap

Bugdet phone means phone that Mets an average users need at affordable price... Even a 200$ phone can be referred as budget..
