I applied for SA visitors visa at VFS Lagos on the 13th of DEC though my flight was scheduled on 24th DEC, But up till now I haven't gotten any message that the Visa is ready and when I checked online it says is still under process.

1.. is anyone also experiencing this?

2. What can I possibly do because it taking too much time?

3. Again since my I couldn't meet up with my flight schedule will it affect the Visa?

Yes you can. Your study permit is a form of temporary residence and for that reason, you can apply from there. The case would have been different if you possess a visitors visa. All the best

These are the set of people causing delays for sincere applications. How can you come to a public forum to be teling us how your agent wants to forge statement for you. It's criminal and very wrong. Thousands of people go through NL and you can be sure representatives from the embassy do same.

Hmm hilarious wow, If u had patiently read,you would observe the coma amidst the sentences and you would see in SA nt Lagos Airport, some bank atm card doesn't work outside Nigeria, and that was why i needed to be to be sure of the process, and at lagos airport i meant exchange.

Bro for your sake, always be patient with reading,and learn to observe punctuation marks,there is a reason for their existence.

Hello house, I went to pick my study visa application today and I was denied based on two reasons:
1) no sponsorship letter from the account holder,
2)no reference letter from the bank on corporate account.
Pls, advise me wat can I do, can I change sponsor if I want to reapply?
Pls wat does reference mean, is it diff from statement of account?

Pls I need urgent reply cos I want to reapply by Friday, my school resumes on 15th of Jan

I guess the account is a joint account, hence the need for reference letter. You can talk to your sponsor to request for reference letter from the bank for you(if your sponsor is a signatory to the company's account).
Also, I guess you're not sponsoring yourself,? Then it's a must that the person you're using his/her bank account details must write a sponsorship letter that he/she will sponsor your education. That's a very important document to submit.

The procedure for obtaining a South African visa is quite different from that of Canada. You will be required to submit your passport on the day you turn in your documents and application form.

. Access bank ATM card swipes but you can't withdraw . It fluctuate the rate not stable .

Acess bank cards work in SA. Rate is between 23 and 24 naira. But note that you can only swipe at pos terminals and cannot withdraw. Also note that there is a limit. You can only spend 100usd in a month with the card. Thats about 1300 rands or so.

Thats a lot of money. Rands exchange is between 31 and 33 naira in the black market. EIther you opt for that or you use a USD card

You open a dollar domiciliary account & fund from black market or wherever. You get a dollar master/VISA card and use it anywhere
