Roland17:We need leaders on the pitch not in the dugout. We always start slow. We should begin games the way we end them. |

kokaneprodigy:yes u are right.. swansea will av scored if day dont use llorente as a lone striker, we got lucky to score first and dat changed d game... giroud will continue to slow us down cos d others will be looking for him, hes not fast enough... wats wit sanchez sulking wen removed d man needs to grow up, wats his problem na only him wan play ball.. his attitude lately is becoming obvious |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Nobody: 12:16pm On Jan 15, 2017 |
sod09:Sanchez was pissed cos Giroud would have played for 90mins if he wasn't injured, only for him (Sanchez) to play there for few mins and get subbed after a GOAL. It was an opportunity for him to try beating Costa on goal tally. |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by sod09(m): 12:42pm On Jan 15, 2017 |
kokaneprodigy:sanchez can get injure any time cos he keeps holding ball... wenger is protecting him, btw we got 4 already |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Spy360(m): 4:00pm On Jan 15, 2017 |
kokaneprodigy:Wenger took him off after securing the win and he himself scoring so as to save his hunger for the next match. Managers often do so to a high scoring striker to avoid a nonchallant attitude in the following game. Sanchez could hit a brace in that game and quench is hunger for goals. On Giroud, we hate that he scored again don't we. ![]() According to our agreement, he gets to start next match if he is fit. |

Pep proving me right time and time again. Nevertheless, if he can turn things around and still win this league, he will deserve my respect. Cc Trendlona, Raumdeuter |

Spy360:I am not sure Pep needs your respect though, Your respect is already reserved for the likes of Wenger who havent won a CL in their lifetime. |

Spy360:I knew no way Everton would lose at home to this current City, I knew we would sneak into top 4 this weekend via that route. |

raumdeuter:Honestly I love Pep, but I want to be objective. You say he is the best manager simply because he won titles with Bayern and Barca. I say he is the best manager because of his use of players and tactics. Same respect I have for Wenger, Poch, Klopp etc. Few managers will have the courage to play Pep's way. |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by raumdeuter: 4:12pm On Jan 15, 2017 |
Spy360:So how does one win titles without correct use of players and tactics? |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Spy360(m): 4:24pm On Jan 15, 2017 |

| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Spy360(m): 4:28pm On Jan 15, 2017 |
raumdeuter:Some coaches win by employing tactics that produce attractive football. Eg Pep, Wenger, Klopp etc. Some win but with unattractive football. Eg Mourinho. I give more respect to the former because they choose the more difficult route. |

Spy360:I'm not overrating him. He has won multiple so he's worth the hype. |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Spy360(m): 7:49pm On Jan 15, 2017 |
TRendlona:If Pep had been coach of Valencia and not Barcelona, Leverkusen and not Bayern etc would he have won multiple titles? It could be possible. But... Based on what we are seeing now, I strongly doubt it. |

Who else noticed that Zlatan celebrated an equalizer? |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Eruditor: 8:12pm On Jan 15, 2017 |
Spy360:Based on what you saw at a certain point this season Pochettino was not a good coach (UCL form); at another point Conte was not a good coach (LFC and AFC losses); At another point Mou was not a good coach either and now Pep is not. The only problem with this is the hypotheticals. If X did not happen. If Y did not happen etc. Always wait for the league season to end then you can give your full assessment. In Pep's first league title we squandered a 12point lead to RM and where within 4 before we played them at Santiago. Bearing in mind, we had CFC away on the Tues (in a make or mar UCL semis). What followed was a 6-2 thrashing of RM and a 1-1 draw at CFC. We ended up winning a treble and subsequently 6 trophies in a year span. The message is: calm down, the season is not over. CFC look money for the title while the rest of the lot are scrambling for 2nd-4th. If it makes you happy, Wenger will not win the league with CFCs, City's, Tottenham or even Uniteds team. So how do you rate Wenger? If great, that's good because Pep is better than him. |
